Humpday Happiness Health Heroes,

We woke with heavy eyes this morning, having to re-mind the brain what day it was. This is my first Christmas at the Oasis Sanctuary. There are some new tenants. Christmas trees and lights can be seen through the windows and the aroma of whatever is for dinner wafts through the court. No turkey yet. The ovens here are too small for traditional turkeys.

This is life in the 21st Century. “They promised us flying cars. They gave us electric scooters.” I can see this becoming very long. If I do flesh it out it will show up in tonight’s transmission.

The generation that arrived post 9-11 has an opportunity craft a strong, but rigid second half of this century. But they will have to detach themselves from the addictions that they were born into. They are like “crack babies.” The “crack” is convenience and instant gratification, dirty minds but no dirty hands. Scared of everything and no work ethic. Some humans mature 180 degrees opposite than they were in childhood. I watched the movie “Surrogates” recently. An awakening for “Zoomers” will have to come after a “future shock.” They will only become strong because they have no other choice. Bleak but optimistic.
