En mi post contaré cómo fue mi tarde del domingo, en un punto de la Ciudad Capital de Buenos Aires. Soy oriunda de Venezuela y estoy muy enamorada de todo cuanto huela a tango, vino, asado y dulce de leche , entre otras deliciosas costumbres.

Ustedes dirán, si hay alguna persona en el mundo que no quede encantada, con un edificio como el que les muestro. Esas cúpulas tan hermosas los años de construcción, el estilo arquitectónico. Es que para mis ojos todo esto me deslumbra. Así como éste, hay cientos de diseños, usados aún para Viviendas, oficinas públicas , hoteles y salas de teatro, en fin, es solo una muestra de lo que estoy disfrutando . Esto dá para pasar toda una vida publicando e investigando . Así como vimos cúpulas y antigüedades, también dentro de la ciudad encontraremos edificios como este, que por cierto refleja la sombra de una hermosa cúpula. Allí se puede observar ese hermoso y mágico contraste, Espero salir en otra oportunidad dispuesta a grabar, fotografiar y escribir sobre este hermoso país.

Just as we saw domes and antiques, also within the city we will find buildings like this one, which by the way reflects the shadow of a beautiful dome. There you can see that beautiful and magical contrast, I hope to go out another time ready to record, photograph and write about this beautiful country.
El domingo pasado, fui a visitar a una sobrina para pasar juntas la tarde. Fascinada con cada esquina, cada edificio antiguo, los locales comerciales estaban cerrados; sin embargo, visitamos algunos que casi nunca cierran debido a que están ubicados en una zona de gran tránsito de personas y muy turística. Aunque para mí, cada rinconcito que descubro en esta bella ciudad me gusta.
El caso es que luego de mirar algunas tiendas, zapaterías, vestido, bisutería, cueros, etc., con la caminata se nos despertó el apetito. No habíamos almorzado y mi sobrina me invitó a comer en un restaurante donde venden comida venezolana. Por supuesto que me emocioné demasiado. Así que al llegar pedimos la carta y ¡hurra! Preparan hasta el famoso y delicioso Pabellón nuestro que se compone de caraotas negras, arroz blanco, Carne mechada y tajadas de plátano maduro, no banana.
Entre tantas exquisiteces me decidí por una Cachapa con queso de mano y una Malta de lata creada por unos paisanos por cierto y cuyo sabor es Idéntico a nuestra Maltin Polar. (Valga la cuña). Acá les dejo una imagen de mi supercachapa que estaba sencillamente deliciosa.
Last Sunday, I went to visit a niece to spend the afternoon together. Fascinated with every corner, every old building, the shops were closed; however, we visited some that almost never close because they are located in an area of high traffic of people and very touristy. Although for me, I like every little corner I discover in this beautiful city.
The thing is that after looking at some stores, shoe stores, clothing, jewelry, leather, etc., with the walk, we worked up an appetite. We had not had lunch and my niece invited me to eat at a restaurant where they sell Venezuelan food. Of course I was too excited. So when we arrived we asked for the menu and hooray! They even prepare the famous and delicious Pabellón nuestro which is made up of black beans, white rice, Carne mechada and slices of ripe plantain, not banana.
Among so many delicacies I decided to try a Cachapa with handmade cheese and a canned malt created by some locals whose taste is identical to our Maltin Polar. (Valga the wedge). Here is a picture of my supercachapa that was simply delicious.

Luego de un gran esfuerzo, logramos salir del lugar para continuar visitando tiendas... Habían algunas con ofertas por cierto. Entramos a una tienda china que aquí abundan, y compré varios detallitos y unos tapa ojos para el descanso de la vista. pasamos a una farmacia y ya cayendo la noche, entramos a un edificio también súper antiguo y emblemático, llamado "Galerías Pacifico.

After a great effort, we managed to get out of the place to continue visiting stores... There were some with bargains, by the way. We went into a Chinese store, which abound here, and I bought several small items and some eye covers to rest my eyes. We went to a pharmacy and as night was falling, we entered a building also very old and emblematic, called "Galerias Pacifico".
"Galerías Pacífico" es uno de los Shoppings Mall más exitosos de la Argentina. Fue declarado Monumento Histórico Nacional por su arquitectura de innegable valor artístico y sus impactantes murales. Y ¿Cómo no va a ser asi? Si Desde que comienzas a ver el diseño y cada detalle de su fachada, los ojos se nublan de tanta belleza. Los invito a entrar y observar los murales espectaculares que posee.

Esta imagen es un ala de la fachada y podrán observar arriba la inscripción del tiempo que el edificio tiene de inaugurado.El mismo, fue construído en el siglo XIX, Inaugurado el 18 de mayo de 1992, por sus dueños Grupo Sutton Dabbah. Es un edificio netamente comercial, posee más de 100 tiendas y servicios. Está ubicado en Córdoba 550, C1054 CABA (Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires)

Lo mejor de todo es que en las columnas inferiores, están los detalles de cada mural y de cada autor. Les haré un esbozo apenas, sobre los artistas que plasmaron su pasión en esa cúpula rebosante de inspiración tanto artística como arquitectónica, puesto que esto da para mucho más en cuanto a detalles.
Estos murales fueron realizados por destacados pintores argentinos: Josefina Robirosa, Antonio Berni, Lino Spilimbergo, Juan Carlos Castagnino y Demetrio Urruchúa y el gallego Manuel Colmeiro Guimarás. Luego se incluyeron otros murales hechos por Julio Le Parc y Carlos Alonso.

The best of all is that in the lower columns are the details of each mural and each author. I will only give you a brief outline of the artists who captured their passion in this dome overflowing with artistic and architectural inspiration, since this gives much more detail. These murals were painted by outstanding Argentine painters: Josefina Robirosa, Antonio Berni, Lino Spilimbergo, Juan Carlos Castagnino and Demetrio Urruchúa and the Galician Manuel Colmeiro Guimarás. Para finalizar este recorrido tan especial, nos tomamos un café con dulces deliciosos del café "Brioche Dorée" y partimos a casa porque la hora de cerrar es a las 21:00 pm. Así que por supuesto, volveré a visitar esta Galería con más tiempo disponible para hacer el recorrido completo.
To end this very special tour, we had a coffee with delicious sweets from the "Brioche Dorée" cafe and left for home because closing time is at 21:00 pm. So, of course, I will visit this Gallery again with more time available to do the full tour.
