Today,I had a wonderfull and awesome service at ERCC BETHEL LAND CHURCH AKWANGA, NASARAWA STATE.
It is a missed of blessing to anyone who should have been in attendance but fail to.
As I step out of my house for church' service , I did so with full of expectation. An expectation of been lebrated, renewal of mind, spirit and soul, open heavens and abundant blessings from above. I can boldly say it was awesome.
The service began exactly 8:00am with prayer session after wards praise and worship. I was privilage to lead today's service praise and worship session and to the glory of God, God did wonders . The atmosphere was filled with God's glory as men lift their hands, clap and dance in honor and adoration to the Lord God Almighty for his mighty works upon their lives.
It was a combine session of English and Hausa langauge, hence Hausa was mostly use as the dominant dialect in songs, sermon announcement and other activities for better comprehension and understanding of the congregation. The service also had session of song ministration by the church spiritual groups which include the choir, women fellowship and mervalous band. I also had the privilage in leading the special ministration by the church band. We minister a song title; "Lets be ready".Lets be ready, it's a message to all children of God to be ready at all time for no one knows the time or hour when the Lord God shall come. Less he comes and meet you and I unprepared.
Today's sermon was taken by the senior Pastor of the church Very Reverend Jude John. He preach on the topic: "The evil heart". He highlighted some ways and characters of Evil heart;
- They create confusion; they are men that Never like stability and unity among brethren. They will always create confusion to distract any positive agenda.
- They withhold information; An evil heart will hold onto any information that will favour his or her neighbour.
- They full people by their wards.
- An evil heart is never remorseful of his or her negative actions.
The service was climax with Thanksgiving from a family for God's sustannce after one year of their mother demise. Its indeed a good thing to thank the Lord for all he is doing in our lives. Today was also set by the church to abserve proffesional day for business men and women. A moment of time was given to them as the match and dance to the stage in thaksgiven for how God has been and is helping them in their various business. The presented a Token as thanksgiven offering onto God to be used for church development. A moment of prayer was said for them.
The service came to an end with a ward of prayer by the Senior pastor of the Church. At closing, it was a moment of exchange of pleasantries among church members, friends and family. Some are meeting together after a long week of activities.
