Hola amigos de esta comunidad en este dia les comparto un paseo por una plaza llamada "Los estudiantes"
Todos los días, en la mañana y en la noche, salgo con mi perra Isis, para que camine y haga sus necesidades. Generalmente, la llevo a la cancha y caminerías de las residencias donde vivo. Allí le quito la correa y así ella tiene más libertad para caminar, husmear por aquí y por allá y también para socializar con otros perros y también con gatos, porque como a ellos les doy comida, ellos siguen a Isis.
Pero hoy decidí que fuéramos un poco más lejos para cambiar de ambiente y para caminar un poco más. Nos sirve a las dos para ejercitarnos. El día estaba soleado y había una brisa fresca.
Caminamos en dirección a una plaza que queda a tres cuadras de donde vivo y cruzamos la avenida.
La plaza de los Estudiantes, en la ciudad de Maracay, se llama así, porque cuando se inauguró por los años 1970, fue para que los estudiantes tuvieran un espacio para reunirse y estudiar. Alli había varios pizarrones y buena iluminación, y era muy común ver a los estudiantes en sus sillas de extensión dispuestos a pasar varias horas durante la noche,para estudiar, hasta yo misma lo hice muchas veces.
Pero esta plaza ha cambiado y en la última remodelación la adecuaron para que las personas tuvieran un espacio para ejercitarse, hay áreas de juego para los niños, un pequeño anfiteatro y tambien una cancha de futbolito y de basketbol. Además, hay un consultorio de atención médica donde observe que había un grupo de personas de la tercera edad esperando ser atendidas.
Cuando llegué con Isis, le solté la correa para que fuera a recorrer e inspeccionar el lugar, pero me mantuve cerca vigilándola para que no se fuera a la avenida, porque es muy transitada.
Sin embargo, rodeando la plaza hay una pista para caminar y correr y también un área para andar en bicicletas, así que esta más segura.
Ella se distrajo corriendo y revolcandose sobre la grama. Hay avisos que te indican que debes recoger las heces y tambien de no pisar la grama, aunque esto ultimo no se cumple cien por ciento.
En el centro de la plaza hay una fuente limpia y con agua y me acerque a fotografiarla.
La plaza estaba muy concurrida a pesar de que era temprano, había personas haciendo ejercicios, también a un grupo de niños en un plan vacacional y al personal que se encarga de la limpieza de la plaza barriendo las caminerías y recogiendo las hojas porque hay muchos árboles y eso es una de las cosas que más me gustan. Porque si hay árboles, hay aves y pude escuchar el canto de diferentes especies.
En el camino, Isis se encontró con una amiga. Levantó las patas delanteras y las montó sobre la niña y ambas se abrazaron. Es una niña muy linda que estaba asistiendo al plan vacacional y le tiene mucho cariño a Isis.
Y yo también me sorprendí al encontrar a la profesora de la Academia de danzas donde mis hijas estudiaron por varios años. Aprovechamos el momento para conversar, sobre todo de los hijos y fue muy agradable verla despues de muchos años.
Como ella iba a dar una clase de danza a los niños del plan vacacional, me quedé para verlos. Creo que los niños la disfrutaron mucho y tambien los padres que estaban tomando fotografias y videos,
Las niñas practicaron una danza árabe y los niños una coreografía con música pop, al final se integraron. Ambos grupos lo hicieron muy bién y por supuesto recibieron muchos aplausos.

Ya de regreso a la casa, Isis llegó con la lengua afuera, no corrio mucho pero si bastante calor.

Every day, in the morning and in the evening, I take my dog Isis out for a walk and to relieve herself. Generally, I take her to the playground and walkways of the residences where I live. There I take her off the leash and she has more freedom to walk, sniff around here and there and also to socialize with other dogs and cats.
But today I decided to go a little further to change the environment and to walk a little more. It serves both of us to exercise. The day was sunny and there was a cool breeze.
The Students' Square , in the city of Maracay, is so called because when it was inaugurated in the 1970's, it was for the students to have a space to meet and study. For that there were several blackboards and good lighting, and it was very common to see students in their extension chairs ready to spend several hours in the square, even I myself did it many times.
But this square has changed and in the last remodeling they adapted it so that people have a space to exercise, playgrounds for children, a small amphitheater and also a soccer and basketball court. There is also a medical office.
When I arrived with Isis, I let her off the leash to walk around, keeping an eye on her so she wouldn't wander into the avenue. Surrounding the plaza is a walking and jogging track and also a bike riding area, so I'm more confident that she won't run into the cars.
She was distracted by running and rolling in the grass. There are signs that tell you to pick up the feces and also not to step on the grass, although the latter is not one hundred percent enforced.
In the center of the square there is a fountain that had water and I thought how beautiful it looks because it is often dry, so I went to photograph it.
I saw people exercising, children on a vacation plan and the cleaning staff working. Sweeping the walkways and picking up leaves because in this square there are many trees and that is one of the things I like the most. And if there are trees, there are birds.
And on the way, Isis met a friend. She lifted her front paws and mounted them on the little girl and they both hugged each other. She is a very cute little girl who was attending the vacation plan and is very fond of Isis.
And I was also surprised to meet the teacher of the dance academy where my daughters studied for several years. We took advantage of the moment to talk about the children and it was very nice to see her after many years.
As she was going to give a dance class to the children of the vacation plan I stayed to see them. I think the children enjoyed it very much and the parents who were taking pictures and videos, too.
The girls practiced an Arabian dance and the boys practiced a choreography with pop music, at the end they integrated. Both groups did very well and of course received a lot of applause.

Back at the house, Isis arrived with her tongue hanging out, not much running but quite hot.
