It was time for ice cream, one of my favorite ways to clear my mind and enjoy some quality time with my husband. There are numerous ice cream shops in Cumana. I think I've tried ice cream at least twenty of them, and the number keeps growing.
From Plaza Ayacucho to the Ciudad Traki Shopping Center, there are at least ten ice cream shops, catering to all tastes and budgets. In this case, we decided to try Super Crema Abys for the first time, a small but cozy shop located next to Traki.
Of course, the first thing I looked at was the list of flavors, presentation, and prices. What I saw at first glance convinced me, so we ordered a three-flavor basket to share between the two of us. My husband isn't really a big fan of sweets, but I can't deny that he enjoys them.
Chocolate, Swiss cake, and peanut butter was the combination we chose. I think these flavors complement each other very well. The quantity was in line with the price, and the consistency was firm, but for my taste, it lacked creaminess. The sweetness was not balanced, as the Swiss cake flavor overshadowed the rest, with a chocolate that also lacked purity.
Although I liked the ice cream, my expectations were high because I had previously tasted very good ice cream in this area and I believed that there was competition between the local establishments to offer the highest quality, especially in terms of artisanal flavors, since choosing machine-made ice cream means knowing in advance that it will be far inferior to traditional ice cream, although it is still enjoyable, but more quickly because it melts almost immediately.
In short, this new ice cream shop I visited offers acceptable products. They are not the best I have ever had, but I had a good time with my husband.

La cantidad era acorde al precio y la consistencia era firme, pero para mí gusto le faltaba cremosidad. La sensación de dulce no era equilibrada ya que el sabor de la Torta suiza opacaba al resto, con un chocolate al que también le faltaba pureza.
Si bien me gustó el helado, las expectativas que tenía eran altas porque anteriormente he degustado helados muy buenos en esta zona y creí que existía competencia entre los locales para ofrecer la mayor calidad, sobre todo en lo que respecta a sabores preparados de forma artesanal ya que optar por un helado de máquina es saber de antemano que estará muy por debajo del tradicional, aunque igual se disfruta, pero más rápido porque se derrite casi de inmediato.
Es fin, esta nueva heladería que visité ofrece productos aceptables, no son los mejores que he disfrutado, pero pasé un buen rato junto a mi esposo.
