Hola! It’s me again! This isn’t a regular blog update, but more of a short glimpse into my day. The weather was extremely hot today—the sun was blazing so much that the heat felt overwhelming.
I also had quite a busy day because I recently bought a small organizer online. After putting it together a few days ago, I finally had the time to start organizing and rearranging things in my room today.
At first, I planned to rearrange my things, but the intense heat and my procrastination got the best of me again. Instead of being productive right away, I ended up wasting time scrolling through Facebook, watching short dramas, and even browsing a website where I unfortunately got scammed. Thankfully, I was still able to recover my small capital before the withdrawals stopped going through. Anyway, enough about that, LOL — let’s get back to the main topic.
Before I started, I decided to do a bit of cleaning first because I knew the dirt and dust would definitely show up once I moved the cabinet, storage boxes, and other furniture around.
This is what everything looked like while I was cleaning—yes, things were scattered everywhere! But honestly, that’s part of the process, right? I had to take everything out so I could check for old stuff I could finally throw away, as well as things that were still useful and worth keeping. It was messy, but also kind of fun going through everything again.
After cleaning, I decided to throw away some things that were still functioning but no longer useful in my daily life. If you’re wondering what one of those items was, it was my old speaker that I used a lot back during the pandemic. It’s a wired speaker, and it still works, but the wires already need a bit of adjusting just to get better sound quality and volume. Even though it still functions, I figured it was finally time to let it go.
This is what the arranging process looked like. At first, I wanted to move my table closer to the window, but in the end, I just couldn’t let go of where my main table was originally placed. Even though my room is quite small, having my table in its current spot gives me a little sense of privacy and helps me avoid getting distracted by everything happening outside.
At that moment, I honestly didn’t know what to do anymore. I wanted to place the organizer somewhere easily accessible, but no matter where I tried to put it, the cabinet kept taking up more space than the rest of my things. In the end, I just decided to place it there, while the yarn storage got relocated to the next room instead.
Then I slowly rearranged everything back in place and cleaned off all the dust that had built up. I think I actually like how the current setup turned out. Putting things neatly on the shelves gives the space a much cleaner and more organized look than before, and it somehow makes the room feel more put-together and easier to move around in.
This is what it looked like before. Honestly, I wasn’t able to take a photo right before I started rearranging everything, so this one was actually taken months ago—LOL.
And this is the current state of my room. It looks way more organized now, with everything finally in its proper place. The space feels much cleaner and more refreshing compared to how it was earlier, and it’s honestly more comfortable to stay in now.
PS: The grey part of the room isn’t fully covered because I wasn’t able to buy another set of white wallpaper due to budget constraints. I also wasn’t able to cover the entire wall division, so some areas are still left unfinished. Even so, I’m making the most out of what I currently have and still trying to make the space look as neat as possible.
Thank you for taking the time to read!
Have a good day.
