Hello, everyone, how are you? I hope you are enjoying the Christmas holidays. This is my first post in this community; I like having a space where I can share those days that are special to me. Today I am sharing one of them with you: the day of the school party at my institution.

Christmas has arrived, and with it some school activities to celebrate the holidays, including the Christmas party, which is a Venezuelan tradition that kicks off Christmas and is usually held during the first week of December.

My mom woke me up early, since the activity would be in the morning, because we would do it with the elementary school children and their school shift or schedule is in the morning, unlike my schedule, which is in the afternoon. I had breakfast and quickly got ready to go to the party; I felt very excited and happy. The day before, my mom bought me a Christmas hat, since I didn't have one.

I arrived at school and some of my classmates had already arrived. I handed in some chopped milkweed that the teachers had asked me to bring to make a tizana to share. I joined my classmates and after a while the activity began, starting with a few words from one of the teachers and then a heartfelt Christmas message from one of my classmates.

We continued with carols and dancing, such as Tucusito, El Burrito Sabanero, Tun Tun, Fuego al Cañón, Espléndida Noche, Gaitas, among others. I love Christmas music; it makes me feel happy and full of excitement for Christmas.

Then they played music so that students who wanted to dance could do so. They played some games, such as musical chairs, where the participants dance around the chair and, when the music stops, they must quickly sit down, and whoever is left standing loses and is eliminated. This game is fun, but I lost quickly.

At the end, we shared a small tizana that was made with the help of the representatives who sent chopped fruit. It was delicious; I love this drink because it has my favorite fruits, such as pineapple and papaya.

It was a very joyful and fun day; we played games, listened to music, danced, and took photos. I love these celebrations at school because they are an excellent opportunity to spend time with my friends and classmates in a different way. This is one of the reasons why I love Christmas, because of the Christmas gatherings, the colors, the music, and the delicious food. At the end of the day, I returned home filled with joy and with my heart full from this gathering.

Now I am on vacation and can take advantage of this time to learn more about Hive, learn, and share a little more. Merry Christmas, have an incredible time with your family, and may faith and kindness always be in your hearts.

Hola, chicos, ¿cómo están? Espero estén disfrutando de estas fiestas navideñas. Esta es mi primera publicación en esta comunidad; me gusta tener un espacio donde compartir esos días especiales para mí. Hoy les comparto uno de ellos. El día del parrandón escolar en mi institución.

Llegó la Navidad y con ella algunas actividades escolares para celebrar las fiestas navideñas, entre ellas el parrandón navideño, el cual es una tradición venezolana que da inicio a la Navidad generalmente se realiza la primera semana de diciembre.

Mi mamá me despertó temprano, ya que la actividad sería en la mañana, porque la haríamos junto a los niños de básica y su turno u horario escolar es en la mañana; a diferencia de mi horario, que es en la tarde. Me desayuné y rápidamente me alisté para ir al parrandón; me sentía muy emocionada y alegre. El día anterior mi mamá me compró el gorro navideño, ya que no tenía.

Llegué a la escuela y algunos compañeros ya habían llegado. Entregué una lechosa picada que me habían pedido las profesoras para realizar una tizana para el compartir, me integré junto a mis compañeros y al rato se dio inicio a la actividad, comenzando con las palabras de una de las profesoras y luego un emotivo mensaje navideño por parte de una de las compañeras.

Continúo con cantos y baile de villancicos (aguinaldos) como el tucusito, el burrito sabanero, tun tun, fuego al cañón, espléndida noche, gaitas, entre otros. Adoro la música navideña; me hace sentir alegre y llena de emoción por la Navidad.

Después colocaron música para que los estudiantes que quieran bailar lo hicieran .Se realizaron algunos juegos como el de la silla; los participantes bailan alrededor de la silla y, al parar la música, deben rápidamente sentarse y el que quede parado pierde y se retira. Este juego es divertido, pero perdí rápidamente.

Al finalizar, se realizó un pequeño compartir de una tizana que se realizó con la colaboración de los representantes al enviar las frutas picadas. Estaba deliciosa; esta bebida me encanta porque tiene mis frutas favoritas, como la piña y la lechoza o papaya.

Fue un día muy alegre y divertido; compartimos juegos, música, baile y nos sacamos fotos. Estas celebraciones en el colegio me fascinan porque es una excelente oportunidad para pasar un rato diferente con mis amigas y compañeros. Esta es una de las razones por las cuales amo la navidad, por las reuniones navideñas, los colores, la música y la comida deliciosa. Al finalizar, regrese a casa cargada de alegría y con el corazón bien llenito por esta reunión.

Ahora estoy de vacaciones y puedo aprovechar para conocer más de Hive, aprender y compartir un poco más. Feliz Navidad, que la pasen increíble en unión familiar y que la fe y la bondad siempre estén en sus corazones.
