Hello Hivers β€οΈ
πΞ±ΟΟπ πΞ±π£πα₯£Ξ± ππΎΟ ππΎΞ±π π everyone. It's really my pleasure to share this post with you guys. Today is our Bangla new year and we celebrating it with Joy and excitement. We always welcome the new year by forgetting all the troubles of the old year. This new year Celebration and festival has been going on for generations. We try to do everything with great joy.
This morning I took my daughter Elma lma to their school. My daughter was dressed very beautifully in a saree.
From there we were taken to a large college ground, where the New Year's Eve ceremony was being held. We rushed there with great joy and saw a big stage decorated with a huge pandal. I was very happy and my daughter also very happy, then we took our sit. First, a special song of Pahela Baishakh is performed here. In this song, all the artists come on stage together and perform the song.
Then another wonderful song was performed here which we all enjoyed very much.
Then a wonderful dance is performed called the puppet dance. This dance was performed very beautifully by small school children. We watched their wonderful performance with awe and enjoyed it very much.
Then a dance was performed with our indigenous people. This performance was very beautiful and there was a message here that this Bangladesh belongs to everyone. Here, small ethnic groups, indigenous peoples, and people of all religions live together in harmony and happiness.
Then several more dances were performed which we all enjoyed very much.
There is a raffle draw at the fair and I have bought several tickets. If I am not lucky, I might get some good prizes.
A wonderful two-day fair has been organized here along with the cultural program of the New Year. I went ahead to explore the different places at the fair with my daughter. I saw many clay ornaments and my daughter loved them.
Most of the objects in the pictures you see here are made of clay. What is our Bangladeshi tradition and there was a time when we Bengalis used to use clay utensils and cook food in them? Even today, there are many people who eat food on earthen floors. It is really healthy.
My daughter bought some clay toys, pots and pans, which are very beautiful and she loves playing with them. Then we will leave there and have lunch.
Then I went to the fair with my parents, wife, children, and all of them in the afternoon. There was a huge crowd of people then, the place was really full of people. Anyway, I had a great time there with my family.
