Last month, I received the most adorable online invitation video from one of my closest friends, inviting me to be her child's godmother. Of course, I said YES! Being chosen as a godparent is something I take personally, and I was honored to accept this important role in their child's life.

Highlights:
- Dawn and I had a fun-filled trip all the way to Pampanga to attend the christening ceremony
- We thought we were going to be late! Good thing we made it on time.
- After the baptism, one of my fellow godparents asked if we had returned the candle we used. We were clueless about the customs about this. Should we return them to the parents? It's still a mystery!
- After the event, we decided to take a different route back to Manila by bus
- On the bus ride, Dawn graded her students' test papers (still working!), while I tried my best not to doze off since we were seated apart.
- Tried LRT! It's an experience I hadn't had in a while. What a trip!
- I guess I missed the chaos and traffic in Manila more than I realized!
