I wanted to share some photos from yesterday with you. They're nothing special, but after almost a month without seeing the sun, enduring endless rain and that solid gray that gets you down... well, finally we had a bright day, and we had to make the most of it. :)
In the first photo, my girlfriend and I (yes, edited with AI, you do what you can) are starting our walk, eager for some fresh air.
Although we enjoyed the sun, it's hard to ignore the general state of Spain. Walking, you notice the damage to the road that you normally only see from the car, in the middle of your routine and at rush hour. Between potholes, bumps, and patches, the car feels it... but when you look at it up close, on foot, it's even more impressive. Yet another proof that Spain is in a mess.
Even so, we continued on our way, enjoying the sun and chatting about this and that. Some meadows are still turned into veritable swamps by the recent rains, as can be seen in one of the photos.
I'm not sure if you can see it clearly here, but I tried to take a photo of some ants we came across along the way. They were scurrying back and forth, super busy, like in the tax office at the beginning of the year. :)
When we got home, one of our cats, “Sketchy” (mademoiselle and professional ninja cat), was lying in the sun, enjoying it as if it were the first time in her life.

quería compartir con vosotros unas fotos de ayer. No son gran cosa, pero después de casi un mes sin ver el sol, aguantando lluvias interminables y ese gris sólido que se te mete en el ánimo… pues oye, por fin tocó un día luminoso, y había que aprovecharlo. :)
En la primera foto salimos mi novia y yo (sí, editado con IA, que uno hace lo que puede) empezando el paseo con muchas ganas de aire fresco. Aunque disfrutamos del sol, es difícil ignorar el estado general de España. Caminando, te fijas en los desperfectos de la carretera que normalmente solo ves desde el coche, en plena rutina y a horas punta. Entre baches, golpes y remiendos, el coche lo nota… pero cuando lo miras de cerca, a pie, impresiona más. Otra prueba más de que España está hecha uno cristo.
Aun así, seguimos nuestro camino, disfrutando del sol y charlando de todo un poco. Algunos prados siguen convertidos en auténticos pantanos por las lluvias recientes, como se ve en una de las fotos.
Y aquí no sé si se aprecia bien, pero intenté sacar una foto a unas hormigas que nos encontramos por el camino. Iban de un lado para otro, súper ocupadas, como en las oficinas de Hacienda a principios de año. :)
Al llegar a casa, uno de nuestros gatos "Sketchy" (mademoiselle y gata ninja profesional), estaba tirada al sol, disfrutándolo como si fuera la primera vez en su vida.
