My morning started with a cup of coffee. While everyone was sleeping, I quietly snuck into the kitchen. I made myself some coffee and went out onto the balcony. I listened to the birds.
I love mornings like this. Everyone was still asleep, and the janitor was sweeping the yard. The morning was sunny, but clouds were gathering in the sky. According to the weather forecast, it was supposed to rain.
I bought coffee at a local store. I smelled it and wanted to buy the same. It was sold in beans. I asked for it to be ground finely. Now I drink it every morning. With the arrival of summer, it has become a tradition for me to go out onto the balcony in the morning and drink a cup of coffee in silence.
I noticed that this cup brings back memories. This cup is from my grandmother's cupboard. My grandmother is long gone, but the cup remains. I remembered how the family would gather at my grandmother's house and drink tea from these cups. I have many different cups, but I decided to switch to this one. For some reason, it is summer now. That's how sentimental I am today.
I thought I would have to go to the post office to parcel, but for now, I am enjoying the morning and making plans for the day. My thoughts are racing again. It is better to enjoy the silence.
The song "Lighter" by Eurovision 2025 participant Kyle Alessandro is constantly playing in my head. Even now, I am humming it. Someone did not like it, but this rhythm suits me. I always want to listen to it. It lights me up.
I even decided to sign up for a haircut and manicure. I want to do it before my son arrives. Now he is relaxing in the country, enjoying the holidays.
Summer pleases with its gifts. I bought myself strawberries. These berries are sold on every corner. What an amazing smell they have - the aroma of summer. How can you pass by without buying some? I bought some. I love strawberries with sugar.
