Hello friends here in Hive. I just want to share how my day went yesterday.
Me and my friends decided to have a small get together. Since we usually only see each other during birthdays, we thought it would be nice to pick a day where we could all hang out and catch up with each other's lives.
As you all know, because of the recent calamities in our town in San Remigio, our school shifted from face to face classes to online and modular learning. It has been almost two months since my friends and I last saw each other.
We agreed to meet at one of my friend's house here in San Remigio. Their house is pretty spacious and her mom said it was fine for all of us to gather there. I left home at around nine in the morning to get to their place.
When I arrived, it was only me and three of my friends. The others had not arrived yet, so we looked around the house for a bit.
I was amazed because they had fishes and even a turtle. I have no idea what kind of turtle it was, so I just called it a turtle haha. It was really cute. I wanted to touch it, but I got scared it might get startled and bite me so I just admired it inside its aquarium.
After about an hour, our other friends started arriving one by one until we were all complete. We settled in the living room and talked about so many things. We laughed a lot while sharing our experiences during the earthquake. We also talked about our plans for the Christmas break and basically anything that came to mind.
I really had so much fun. Moments like that make me miss everything even more. This is our last year together as high school students, and next year will be our graduation which will also be the start of our college journey. When that happens, we might not see each other as often anymore. Some friendships might change and some might stay, but I know I will always treasure the bond I have with them, and I am forever grateful that our paths crossed.
After hanging out, my boyfriend asked if we could have a quick date at Worthy Spot. I agreed since it was still early to go home, and I really wanted to see him. We have not seen each other for a while because he was busy with his training and I was also caught up with my own responsibilities.
We ordered some snacks and just talked about random things until the sun started to set. I wanted to stay a little longer, but my mom was already asking me to go home to buy viand, so I had to leave.
Even though the day ended earlier than I wanted, it was still one of those simple days that made my heart feel light. I got to spend time with the people I care about and that was more than enough for me.
That is all that happened in my day. Thank you for reading and spending a little time with my story. I hope your day went well too. Until next time.
