Happy Holi
Though the original date of Holi festival is different but back in those days, the University was closed and observing post semester break.
In our university, Quaid-E-Azam University, it is a tradition to celebrate each and every festival. There are many minorities living in Pakistan and we all show inclusiveness of Pakistani culture.
On 19th June 2025, Mehran Student Council, Student council of Sindh Province, organized Holi event to celebrate it with colors of life.
Throughout the day, I was hearing the songs of Holi through my window in my room. I was waiting for evening time so that i can also go and enjoy the event. I went there with my room mate, Ahmad.
Jai Sai Ram, My hindu friend from Sindh. He is my batchmate and impressively nicest human being. Last night, i was sitting on stairs with him and we discussed many things from life to religion and to humanity. He narrated me the whole belief story behind Holi festival. He narrated me the story of holika and Flames of Fire.
Believe me, i was unable to find my mates. Their faces were so filled with colors that i failed to recognize them.
I was capturing everybody's face. It was such a lovely experience. While playing this year Holi, my brain was sending me flashbacks of previous years.
Oh Gosh, How handsome he's looking in colors π. π
I cannot tell you how colors were coming my way. In the similar manner as rain coming from right above. I was clueless who was throwing and who was following me????? Even colors entered my nostrils and eyes. My glasses got foggy and i became unable to catch light from real world. It was like i am blind. I rubbed my eyes and cleaned my glasses. It was all foggy and unclear.
Eyes filled with dreams and ambitions but layered with colors of life.
See Holi painted a beautiful painting over my hand. Isn't it beautiful?
One with mates !
And some more mates chilling!
