Yesterday it seemed that it would get warmer. But this morning I went out on the porch and saw that everything around was covered with a thick layer of snow again. Actually, it didn't melt. It's just that the layer has become even thicker. About 20-30 cm.
This made adjustments to my plans. I thought I would go to the neighboring city to pick up warm vests for two old dogs. But after I read the feedback of the drivers about what was happening on the roads, I gave up on this idea. After all, my dogs live in the house and now it's quite warm in their room. I bought these vests rather for spring when I turn off the heating. I usually do it quite early, as soon as the frosts stop. It allows me to save money. But the house immediately gets cool and old short-haired dogs need extra warmth.
I have previously decided that I will do it on Sunday. First of all, it will be warmer. And, secondly, I'll still have to leave the house, because I have an appointment. So I limited myself to checking my birds, bringing them warm water and returning to the house.
The blackout continues after the shelling of our energy industry by russian fascists. There will be no electricity all day today. Then it will be one hour. And then it probably won't be until the morning. I'm not too worried. During the four years of the war, I already have everything I need. That hour when there will be electricity will be enough for me to charge the batteries and power banks.
Interestingly, in connection with this situation, I began to look at my plans for the repair in a different way. I used to be very concerned about the question of where to place sockets for electricity. But now I started to think that it doesn't matter at all. It is enough to have one in each room, at most two. Other problems can be solved with the help of mobile batteries. Perhaps this approach is the future. After all, then you can rearrange the furniture as you like and not think about where to turn on the lamp!
