The first days of this week were just terrible. I need to go to work. The path is 50 km and then 50 km back. Basically, I'm already used to it. But winter doesn't want to let us out of its tenacious paws. As a result, snowfall and a sharp cold snap began on Sunday.
Monday was just terrible. And not because my morning started with the fact that I had to take a shovel and dig up the snowdrift that my car turned into. I was even able to start it without any problems. But here's the road...
I was hoping that when I got on the track, it would be easier. But it was in vain. The route was as terrible as the road in my village: snow at the top and ice at the bottom. I was in tremendous tension all the time. But at least I was moving forward.
A nightmare started at the entrance to the city. Traffic jam for many kilometers. The navigator abruptly changed the route and I drove into the city from the other side. There was also a huge traffic jam here, but the navigator showed me a very strange detour. It was hard to move through the narrow snow-covered streets. But that's how I saved about an hour. In total, it took me about 4 hours to get to work! Of course I was late, but it didn't matter anymore.
The only bonus that day was that I was able to find a parking space. That's the end of the bonuses. It took another three hours to get home...
Judging by the forecasts of weather forecasters, the nightmare was supposed to happen again today. I was already tuning in to it. But everything changed suddenly. Probably nature changed its mind and it didn't snow. Over the past few days, utilities have finally eliminated the consequences of the snow collapse. I got to work in quite comfortable conditions. The asphalt was already felt under the wheels and the car did not start to snot when braking. Of course, I'm much less tired.
It was a difficult and unpleasant situation in general. But I consoled myself with the fact that spring will come anyway😉
