Hello community, glad to greet you and wish you a happy and prosperous Sunday. Today I want to share with you a family outing on Easter Sunday after leaving church.
I would like to mention that we have not been going out to share in these places for a long time because the economic situation has been critical and we can only afford to eat for a few days.
However, God has been good to provide us with the daily sustenance to live and today as a family we decided to spend a little of our budget already stipulated for so many days with the purpose of getting out of the routine and enjoy a beautiful and quality time with our loved ones.
Today we went to the Cumaná Plaza shopping mall with the purpose of spending an excellent day free of all stress and worries, we were surprised to see that most of the commercial establishments were closed.
Hola comunidad, encantado en saludarles y desearles feliz y próspero domingo. El dia de hoy quiero compartirles una salida familiar el domingo de resurrección después de salir de la iglesia.
Les menciono que teníamos mucho tiempo que no salíamos a compartir en éstos lugares porque la situación económica ha sido crítica y solo nos alcanza para comer unos días.
Sin embargo, Díos ha sido bueno que nos provee cada día el sustento para vivir y hoy como familia decidimos gastar un poco de nuestro presupuesto ya estipulado para tantos días con el propósito de salir de la rutina y disfrutar de un tiempo hermoso y de calidad con nuestros seres queridos.
El día de hoy fuimos al centro comercial Cumaná Plaza con el propósito de pasar un excelente día libre de todo estrés y preocupaciones, nos sorprendió al ver que la mayoría de los establecimientos comerciales estaban cerrados.
Being in the mall at the entrance of the same we got some decorations alluding to the celebration of Easter as we say in Venezuela or Holy Week, it is worth mentioning that the decoration is based on beautiful birds called macaws, by the way they have very bright colors and striking. These birds are typical of the states of Amazonas and Bolivar, a curious fact is that at this time (Easter) of the year the chicks are born as we say to the children of these.
Estando en el centro comercial en la entrada del mismo nos conseguimos unos adornos alusivos a la celebración de la Semana Mayor como le decimos en Venezuela o Semana Santa , es de mencionar que la decoración está basadas en unas hermosas aves llamadas Guacamayas, por cierto éstas poseen con colores muy vivos y llamativo. Esas aves son típicas de los estados Amazonas y Bolívar, un dato curioso es que en esta época (Semana Santa) del año nace los pichones como le decimos a los hijos de éstas.
Then we continued walking around the mall although as I mentioned above almost all the stores were closed, something that caught our attention was the prices of different dishes sold in Cumaná Plaza specifically on the third floor in an area known as the food fair taking advantage that it was lunch time.
When we saw the prices we found them very attractive and most importantly it was within our budget. We decided to go up to the fair to taste what we thought of buying which was a combo of two hot dogs plus a glass of soda for only 2.5$. When we went up there we got a surprise too, the whole food fair was closed and a maintenance staff that works there told us that the place is not open to the public on Sundays.
When we were told that the fair was not going to open its doors this Sunday we were a little sad, especially the little one that accompanies us, but as we were determined to eat out, we went to another commercial and it was the same, the food fair was closed, we returned to the Cumaná Plaza and when we entered a supermarket we realized that it has an area where they sell food and there were only soups and empanadas.
After so much walking we opted for two soups, two empanadas and a soft drink.
The soup was delicious and according to my son the empanadas were tasty.
Personally it was a great day filled with many blessings and wonderful things. We had a wonderful time and hope that God will help us to repeat these outings soon.
Cuando nos dijeron que la feria no iba a abrir sus puertas éste domingo nos entristeció un poco sobretodo el pequeño que nos acompaña , pero como estábamos decididos a comer fuera de casa , fuimos a otro comercial y también fue igual , la feria de comida estaba cerrada, volvimos al Cumaná Plaza y cuando entramos a un supermercado nos dimos cuenta que éste tiene un área donde venden comidas fuimos y sólo había sopas y empanadas.
Después de tanto caminar optamos por dos sopas, dos empanadas y un refresco.
La sopa estaba muy deliciosa y según mi niño las empanadas estaban sabrosas.
En lo personal fue un día muy genial lleno de muchas bendiciones y cosas maravillosas. La pasamos espectacular esperando que pronto Dios nos ayude a repetir estas salidas.
