and I'm back again with another story to tell.
Hello everyone, in this blog I'm here to share with you my unexpected all-nighter memory. On the third day of our foundation day celebration, we were told to be there early in the evening, before 7:30 pm. Therefore, my partner and I took a shower and ate dinner at 6:00 pm to avoid getting late because we knew there would be a lot of people watching and the seats were limited; we might not get a good view if we came later than the said time. When we arrived at the venue, people had already started to arrive, but the event hadn't begun yet. We were having mixed emotions because they told us to arrive early, but the event didn't even start until past 8:00 pm. During the third-day event, it was the crowning of Mr. and Ms. CRMC, and as Filipinos, most of us are really big fans of pageantry. Most of the contestants already had some experience in modeling, and others already had management. Our department didn't bag a lot of special awards, but thankfully, our girl representative made it to the top five and delivered the best answer during the Q&A portion, which made her win the Miss CRMC title. Though our Mr. representative didn't make it to top 5 but the Psychology program is just as proud and supportive. Me and my partner actually was so excited to watch the event because the host there was our previous teacher and we're excited to see him. He's actually a very well-known host, a master of ceremony, and even a judge. During the days 1 to 3, we actually know one of the judges because they were also our previous teacher from our previous school.
The event actually ended at almost 2 in the midnight and we were not allowed to sign out early which was understandable but pardon me for complaining because my eyes were really about to shut down so I just nap on my partner's shoulder. After the event, we were super hungry so the other boarders, including my partner and I decided to go straight directly to our boarding house so that we can have a midnight walk to McDonald's.
When we got back to our boarding house, we immediately devoured to meals that we bought and satisfied our growling stomachs. Since it was already 3 in the evening, my partner and I just decided to have an all-nighter. We cleaned our room since it was so messy and then we played checkers. Sadly, no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't beat her, she's too good at it.
