Este 2023 fue un año de muchas experiencias nuevas, tanto personales como académicas, estoy feliz de que muchas de ellas hayan sucedido y hoy quiero contarles un poco de una de ellas.
En una de mis materias anuales hacemos un desfile pequeño, se trata del anteúltimo trabajo que vamos a realizar, llegar a pasar esto es difícil por el nivel de estrés, pero pasarlo es un gran festejo, aunque falte un poco para finalizar.
Para esto Creamos un prototipo en base a una obra de arquitectura, antes de que mi compañera se lo pusiera el prototipo se veía así.
This 2023 was a year of many new experiences, both personal and academic, I am happy that many of them have happened and today I want to tell you a little about one of them.In one of my annual subjects we do a small parade, it is the second to last job that we are going to do, getting through this is difficult due to the level of stress, but passing it is a great celebration, even if there is a little left to finish.
For this, we created a prototype based on a work of architecture. Before my partner put it on, the prototype looked like this.
Ese día llegamos dos horas antes a la facultad, ya que había muchas cosas para hacer, imprimir unas laminas, maquillar y peinar a quien iba a modelar y estar a tiempo, además algo podía surgir así que era mejor estar antes y con muchas cosas listas, yo me lleve mi mochila, el prototipo y una gran bolsa llena de elementos por si algo sucedía jajaja para mi todo estuvo bien pero como suele pasar en estos casos no es así para todos.
That day we arrived two hours early at the college, since there were many things to do, print some sheets, do the makeup and hair of the person who was going to model and be on time, plus something could come up so it was better to be earlier and with many things ready , I took my backpack, the prototype and a large bag full of elements in case something happened hahaha for me everything was fine but as usually happens in these cases it is not like that for everyone.
Lo primero que hice fue maquillar a mi compañera de trabajo practico, ya que ella iba a ser quien se ponga el prototipo, nuestra idea estaba apoyada en una creatura marina o que tenía que ver con algo del mar y la naturaleza, para eso le hice un maquillaje que resaltara los ojos y las cejas en color blanco, y resalte con gris ya que era parte de nuestra paleta de color.
Vestirla dentro de esto fue un poco difícil y como nos dimos cuenta de que era complicado que su pelo este suelto tuve que volver a peinarla, cada vez la hora se acercaba más así que tuvimos que correr un poco, pero todo estuvo listo para ella a tiempo, una vez lista la mandaban a la fila a esperar.
The first thing I did was put makeup on my practical co-worker, since she was going to be the one to wear the prototype, our idea was based on a marine creature or something that had to do with something about the sea and nature, that's why I made it a makeup that highlighted the eyes and eyebrows in white, and highlighted with gray since it was part of our color palette.Dressing her in this was a little difficult and as we realized that it was difficult for her hair to be down I had to comb her hair again, each time the time got closer so we had to run a little, but everything was ready for her time, once ready they sent her to the line to wait.
Me encantaría mostrarles más y mejores fotos, pero ese día fue caótico para muchas de mis compañeras, como venimos cursando todo el año juntas y varias nos vemos en otras materias generamos un clima de compañerismo, así que mientras iban llegando las que ya teníamos todo listo fuimos ayudando a las que estaban en problemas y realmente hubo muchos.
Uno de los más comunes era que los prototipos no habían sido probados en casa antes, entonces al momento de desfilar empezaban a desmoronarse, y teníamos que evitar que eso pasara, así me lleve unas cuantas quemaduras con la pistola de silicona jajajaj, había que correr y ayudar, se vieron casos donde una persona estaba quieta y 3 o 4 trabajando a su alrededor al mismo tiempo, peinando, maquillando, armando el prototipo y poniéndole los zapatos.
Si alguna vez vieron una serie de moda o alguna película el detrás de escena era igual, corriendo, buscando y ayudando por todos lados, para que todo saliera lo mejor posible.
I would love to show you more and better photos, but that day was chaotic for many of my classmates, since we have been studying together all year and several of us see each other in other subjects, we generated an atmosphere of camaraderie, so while those of us who already had everything ready arrived. We helped those who were in trouble and there were really many.One of the most common was that the prototypes had not been tested at home before, so when parading they began to fall apart, and we had to prevent that from happening, even if I got a few burns with the silicone gun hahaha, we had to run and help, there were cases where one person was standing still and 3 or 4 people were working around him at the same time, doing hair, makeup, putting together the prototype and putting on the shoes.
If you have ever seen a fashion series or a movie, behind the scenes was the same, running, searching and helping everywhere, so that everything turned out as best as possible.
Cuando todas estuvieron listas pasaban a una pequeña pasarela, no saque fotos en esta parte del proceso porque simplemente para ese momento había liberado tanto estrés de semanas anteriores que me distraje, pero si saque algunas mientras daban la vuelta al piso, mi facultad está formada por 4 pisos, y yo curso esta materia en el segundo, entonces la profesora que hizo el desfile hizo que las chicas pasaron por pasarela, una vuelta en el aula, otra en el aula vecina de la misma materia pero para los de segundo año (yo soy de tercero) y una vuelta más por todo el piso.
When everyone was ready they went to a small walkway, I didn't take photos in this part of the process because by that moment I had released so much stress from previous weeks that I got distracted, but I did take some while they were going around the floor, my faculty is made up of 4 floors, and I study this subject in the second year, so the teacher who did the parade made the girls go through the catwalk, one turn in the classroom, another in the neighboring classroom of the same subject but for the second years (I I'm a third grade) and one more lap around the floor.
Como hice mi primer año de la carrera entre 2020 y 2021 debido a las restricciones por covid tuve clases virtuales, entonces perdí los desfiles de primer año que suelen ser dos, pero haber experimentado este fue divertido y una buena experiencia, seguro más adelante en mi carrera haya más, espero les haya gustado.

Since I did my first year of the degree between 2020 and 2021 due to covid restrictions I had virtual classes, so I missed the first year parades, which are usually two, but having experienced this one was fun and a good experience, I will definitely later in my career.
