Good day everyone, welcome to My Blog today.
What does it mean to be good in life? Goodness is not something we are born with; it is a characteristic that is woven into us. Sometimes we cultivate it through efforts and deliberate choices. Spiritual thinkers have debated this for centuries. The answer is really simple: human behavior can be shaped by both nature and nurture. Nature is being born with it, nurture is from your family and how you are raised.
Many people argue that goodness is inherent. Well, I do not believe that. From the time I was a young child, children always displayed empathy, compassion, and fairness. This shows that they are innocent souls. Infants also cry when they see their mother in pain. This shows emotions with people, even if you were the one that gave it to them.
I brought up a lot of suggestions that being good is a natural state of mind. A society's role is also to nurture and protect it, but it does not create it. So, goodness in itself serves as an instinctive moral compass that helps us show kindness and cooperation within our family and our society at large.
There is strong evidence that goodness can be cultivated. Life can be complex, human races are countless, tribes are different. The ability to act morally often requires self-awareness, reflection, and it is also a deliberate choice people have to make. Their decisions to help others or to watch others suffer, to tell the truth, or to be evil and partake in selfish actions are self-culture actions, learning, and shaping our character over time. Education and experience can also strengthen these moral lessons.
Proving that goodness is not only inherited but it is built. Being good is likely a combination of being born with it and also learning kindness and fairness. This can be nurtured, refined, and made to look very beautiful. Goodness can be expressed in our everyday actions, self-respect, honesty, caring for others, sharing in others' sorrows, and sharing in their joy. It is the rarest happiness that creates the commitment to living in accordance with the principles of nature.
To say someone is good is to recognize that they constantly act in a way that helps and benefits others and upholds good morals. It is not merely a label for good intentions but an acknowledgment of their actions whether it comes from being cultivated or if it is inherent. It is a good potential we are born with, and we must pass it on to others, especially to our children. Showing it out to individuals is also a way of teaching people that being good and being kind will definitely shape them into a better person in life, shaping a life that will contribute positively to the world at large.
