Moments like this makes my heart beam of extreme excitement, so much that words may not reflect enough the enthusiasm in my spirit to the real world. On the flip side though, being in a space with like minds where writing and expression is pure value, carving out the right words like a sculptor feels just like a hobby.
Speaking of hobbies, writing is more than that for me, it's more than an art even, which explains my excitement and gratitude when I got the invitation and opportunity from 
As you must have guessed by now, writing is not just my cup of tea, it's the main juice!
So let's get to the main juice, shall we?
I am BAMIDELE OMONIYI ARIYIBI, a true Yoruba man by culture and style from the west side of Nigeria - Ogun state. I like to think of myself as an all rounded Nigerian as my journey in life has planted me into different roots all around the country.
Born into a loving family of 3 solid boys, a beautiful girl and 2 role models as parents. Great right? Well growing up was never the prettiest back in the day, and as the 2nd of three young boys at the time I could only pray for better days seeing how my Dad would on a daily basis carry the entire burden of the family on his heavy shoulders with my Mom as supportive and sacrificial as it gets by his side, without making us seem like we were too much. I learnt a lot from those experiences that have now shaped me into a better man.
As a Yoruba boy who lived his early and teenage life in the North, there was no way to escape the bruises of survival.
So although I fell in love with writing as early as my Primary school days, I was way more into my studies because somehow I believed and wanted to proof that becoming a lawyer after school, I could be the difference and bridge in making a peaceful and better life for my family and others.
But like every other average kid my future ambitions fluctuated like a faulty electric switch, unsure of what I wanted to do with my young life. I gained a lot more clarity along the lines of my university days and National youth service experience.
Now I am a structural and architectural designer, a building graduate by profession and certification, a writer and poet by passion.
I am also a sports person in general, particularly a basketball player who compromised his "Pro" dreams for realities that seemed too overwhelming as a Nigerian boy.
