Hey guys welcome to my blog, so according to this week's prompt, I will be talking about the role of parents and society in making children the leaders of tomorrow.
Parental roles in making sure that their children have a bright and better future is very important, in our society of today parents give birth to their children and end up dumping them on the streets to beg, sleep under the bridge and they wouldn't even care, some even give birth to as many children as they could and just abandon them with no care, no education and this children grows up to become a terror to the society.
Now I will be talking about how parents and the society can contribute to the future of the children, and I will like to start with the parents.
Parental roles are:
Parents should showcase leadership qualities hereby demonstrating integrity, the act of resilience and most importantly how take responsibility.
Parents should encourage independence by allowing their children to make their own decisions and also take risks.
Parents should learn to Foster self confidence hereby praising their children's efforts, their success and progress.
Parents should provide their children with opportunities to interact with others such as community service and some extra curricular activities.
Parents should serve as mentors to their children, guide them in problem solving, guide them in also setting goals for themselves.
Now to the society:
The society should provide access to quality education, that teaches the children leadership skills.
The society should provide opportunities for children to participate in leadership programs.
The society should provide safe environments that supports the children's growth and also an environment that allows them to explore and also learn properly.
The society should encourage diversity and foster unity among the children, so they can grow up respecting each other's religion and cultural believe as well, by so doing it will help them grow up with the mindset of oneness.
When the parents and the society work together they help children develop confidence and good characters that is needed in becoming a good leader of tomorrow. But we can't find such in world of today again, some parents even tell teach their children how to practice evil and keep malice. May God help us.
