"Money is one of the most important things in our world; one way or another, we need money to get things done.
Even in charity, money seems to play a very vital role. In fact, the first thing a needy person would expect you to do for him or her when you come to render help is money.
Sometimes, when you give something less than money, they feel disappointed, although they might not express it.
But don't you think the idea of always giving money has a bad side? For how long can one continue to give? What if we are in difficult moments and don't have much to give?
All these are barriers. What if the narrative is changed, and instead of always giving money, the needy are taught skills or empowered to start up something for themselves?
For this prompt, tell us what you think: should money always be used for charity, or should a skill be taught instead?"

This initiative is for the purpose of nurturing newbies about some basic principles of Hive. Every week the community will engage all newbies and intermediate Hivians on a weekly prompt that will help us check and correct newbies minor errors on Hive Blockchain.

It is very common in different communities how newbies don't know how to navigate and play according to some simple rules of the community. It's sometimes difficult for newbies to locate their various niche on Hive so, aside advertising and onboarding newbies on Hive, we want to make their journey more easier by giving them tips on how to improve their posts and the community that best suits their kinds of content.
