Lying is the nature of some humans, and they tell lies like it’s an art and it’s something they can feel proud of, but actually, it’s not like that. Lying is not a good habit, and nobody wants to believe a liar. From our childhood time, our elders advised us not to tell lies and to tell the truth all the time. Sometimes, telling a lie or hiding the truth is reasonable, but most of the time, those steps are taken to deceive people. Many times, we wished there were a lie detector machine through which we could tell what a lie is and what the truth is. In fact, based on that imagination, such kinds of scenes were shown in several movies even though it’s not possible in real life till now.
Just imagine if it were possible in real life. What if the green light bar shows above Ono's head if we tell the truth, and the red light bar shows if we tell a lie? Will it be interesting? Will it be good for us, or will it bring trouble for us? I think it will not bring so much trouble for introvert people, as they talk less, and most of the time they talk when it’s necessary. They talk little, and they don’t have a reason to tell lies in most cases. But for extroverted people, it’s not going to be easy, and they talk a lot, and if each time the light on the head keeps showing up, it would be like they are giving proof for each statement, and I feel it’s kind of humiliating. If that’s the case, there is no need for trust in anyone.
I am such a person who loves to keep things secret, and I rarely share things with others if it’s not necessary. Many people can ask me many questions, and obviously, there are many things they don’t deserve to know. Even if they deserve it, it should depend on me if I want to keep it secret or if I want to share. But if the light bar shows on my head, I won’t be able to keep things secret easily. If I tell the truth, they will find it automatically, and if I tell lies, it will be shown on my head, and it will reveal lies, and predicting the truth is not so difficult in that case.
There is another solution I have found that may help me to keep things secret. I think not giving an answer is the best way not to reveal any secret. If I don’t give any answer to a certain question others ask, there is no truth, or there will be no lies. But I don’t think it’s a good idea either. If I ignore any questions of others or do not answer, others may start to suspect me of why I am not giving any answer unless there is something fishy. That’s how people actually think nowadays, and we can’t control the thoughts of people. But such a thing could be avoided just by telling a lie from a normal perspective.
I believe that telling the lie or truth is a choice of a person, and the right should not be snatched, no matter what. I don’t like the idea of showing a color bar to tell the truth or lie, as it creates complications, even if it can ensure transparency.
