If I were given a clean slate with two options; to either restart my life at age six with all the knowledge I have now or take twenty million dollars in cash, I will go for the restart.
Tell us the reason behind your choice and what you think will be the outcome.
The main reason I will pick to restart my life at age six is because knowledge is more powerful than money. Having all the knowledge I have now and going back to the age of six gives me a big advantage. I can avoid so many mistakes I made before, both in life and in business. I will be smarter, more focused, and more prepared. I will already know what works and what doesn’t work. I will know which ideas are worth chasing and which ones to ignore. That kind of head start is something even twenty million dollars can’t buy.
Starting school again will be easier because I already understand most of the subjects. I will move faster than others, pass exams with ease, and maybe even finish school earlier. That gives me more time to start building businesses or learning extra skills like coding, investing, and public speaking. Imagine being a teenager who already knows how to trade forex or build an app. I will have time on my side, and with that knowledge, I can create success faster and earlier.
Also, with the knowledge of the past, I can make wise financial moves. I would know when to buy Bitcoin, when to invest in the stock market, or even when to start a YouTube channel or a mobile app. I will already know which companies will grow big like Amazon, Apple, Facebook, or even local companies in Nigeria. I could buy land early, build houses, and sell them when the price goes up. Even one smart move like buying Bitcoin in 2009 or 2010 could give me more than twenty million dollars.
There are also some personal reasons. I can correct my past mistakes. There are people I hurt or ignored, and I will do better this time. I will take better care of my health, eat better, exercise early, and avoid stress. I will also take time to build my talent. If I loved music, drawing, or writing, I would start early and grow it without fear. This restart would not only make me rich but also make me a better person.
If I restart at age six, by the time I turn ten, I can already be writing code, building small apps, or learning how to trade. At twelve, I could launch a business—maybe an online store, a learning app, or a YouTube channel that teaches something useful. By fifteen, I might already be earning millions and making good investment decisions. At eighteen, I will already have businesses running, houses built, and investments growing. By twenty-five, I might be richer than most people who ever lived in my area.
More than that, I will use this chance to help others. I will support my family better, give scholarships, build businesses that employ people, and start green projects to protect the planet. This second chance will allow me to not just make money but also make a difference. I can use my knowledge to teach others, motivate them, and build a better community.
Taking twenty million in cash is nice and very tempting. It gives instant comfort and solves many problems. But it is limited. I can lose it if I make bad decisions or get too relaxed. Starting over with knowledge, on the other hand, gives me unlimited chances to succeed and grow. It allows me to rewrite my story and do it better than before. So, for me, the outcome of restarting at six will be far greater than just taking money. I will be richer, wiser, and more fulfilled.
