Hi! It's a beautiful Tuesday and I'm so excited. It's week 46 prompt, and I'm asked to write about the things I'm thankful for this year.
I want to say a very big thank you to everyone who has been curating my post. God bless you all. It's a good thing to be thankful to God and It's a virtue that must be seen often.
I don't think there's anyone who doesn't have at least one outstanding thing to thank God for.
I have so many things to thank God for, but I won't be able to express everything here.
The first thing I'm thankful for is life. If you don't have life, that means you don't have hope. I still recall the incident that occurred when I was four years old with my twin sister.

My mother told me that I and my twin sister began to bite our tongues, and our eyes were turning. She didn't understand what that meant until a medical Doctor saw us.
He told her we didn't have blood, and if care wasn't taken, we would die. They had to take us to the hospital for a blood transfusion, and here we are.
Another incident occurred a few years ago; someone wanted to kill me when I went to fetch firewood, but God saved me.
This year, he also saved me. And as I speak, I will be a year older tomorrow. I've noticed that some people I came into this world with are no more, but here I am.
I'm indeed thankful to God for the gift of life.

The second thing I'm thankful for is my academics. Honestly, It wasn't easy for me when I decided to go to college.
People said a whole lot of things to discourage me, but I ignored what they said and still carried out my plans.
Today, those people are thanking God for me because of how far God has brought me. God has helped me academically, he has proven himself to me in diverse ways.
One year is remaining for me to become a graduate of the college. I'm thankful for the grace and courage he has given to me.
The last thing I'm thankful for is that I've achieved something tangible this year. I mean something that has transformed my life.
All thanks to my pastor, Pastor Uyobong. He's indeed the reason behind my success. He doesn't want to see me being idle.

He suggests I should be coming to his computer shop to learn a tech skill. At first, I wanted to give an excuse, but he gave me a book written by Brain Tracy to read. The book is titled, "No Excuse".
After reading a particular page, I decided to learn the skill. And today, I'm happy to tell everyone that I'm doing well there.
This post is in response to the Hivereachout week 46 prompt.
