Good day to all hiveans on community,
It's a pleasure and a great honor for me to have such opportunity, writing on this community.
I'm Michael okechukwu by name, my hive user name is , I'm a hive writer, I have been engaging in a lot of contests lately, I still have the opportunity to engage in this weekly contest
unforgettable experience
Before I proceed, I will like to thank all who made this contest to be a successful one , I know many underground works have been done, many sacrifices has taken place just for this contest, you guys has shown how much you love the world as you have decided to come up with this idea which will benefit as many people as possible. Thanks once again.
I have many experiences which I will never forget, but let me start with one of them .
It wasn't a good one though, it's all about my life's struggle, things I have went through in order to be successful in life.
After my secondary education , my senior brother who stays in ogun stay invited me to come and stay with him so I can learn the type of trade he is doing, he deals on cosmetics. I was much eager to go , one reason is that I want to travel and know some other places, the second reason is that I really want to make it in life as early as possible, so I took the step and I traveled from ABA Abia state to abeokuta ogun state. At first I was staying with my brother in his shop and was getting the experience of business, after some months my brother decided to open another shop which he asked me to go over there and be handling the shop , I was so glad 😊, I told myself "very soon I will become boss and have my own shop" .
I was doing greatly well because I was putting all my best to make sure the shop is growing, my brother gave me a target which I always focus on, the target he gave me made me to be more serious and it affected the shop positively, we both were happy doing business and living together.
what happened later
After about two years, the governor of ogun state then decided to construct a standard road along the place our shops are, both the one I'm handling and also my brothers own , this road construction changed the whole story 😢.
our two shops where marked to be demolished, I cried so hard as I heard about it , we parked all our goods , we keep on looking as the constructors demolished our shops 😢, though it wasn't only our shop that it affected, it also affected many other shops along the lane , my brother had no option than to start looking for shop elsewhere, he couldn't get any after he searched for up to two months, he suggested I should go back to aba Abia state as things wasn't easy again. That was how I returned after all my struggles putting much effort on my business, growing a lot of contacts etc.
Later my brother got a new shop but it wasn't in a better position unlike his first shop but he had to manage it like that , I now decided to go back to my barbing work because I learned how to barb before traveling to ogun state. I can never forget this experience, it really did hurt me although I have moved on , I now sees it as life because life is all about struggling and its ups and down.
