The scene of the world is changing said the good book, Bible in the Gospel. Truly, many things and values have been modified and influenced by this "new" normal thereby affecting how kids and parents of this days view and reacts to certain core values which really forms societies of yesteryears. As the changes becomes obvious, many people tend to join and forget their previous training and guidance.
Although these changes and influences of parents and societal values are viewed as normal social and cultural development by learned societal groups. Check the history books and see reasons with them. For example, the good impact of the great Renaissance and industrial revolution periods are the revival of humanism and large - scale production that brought more development to the humanity and affects how the views their core societal values that revolves around their interests of their monarchial and oligarchical rules. The integration and exposure orchestrated by seeing new lands and their resources challenged the ways, things be and brought about new changes.
However, the parental values have been influenced and modified by many societal and civilization factors. It's better being discussed now so as to reduces its negative effects and build up its positive for more development and awareness. Using my neighborhood as the case study, let me share some factors which have really influenced parental views and it's effects.
The Role of Technology Over Parental values.
Bible and society gave the absolute rights of training and guiding children over to their parents. They are their "gods" and such education being embedded into centuries of old values are passed on to those children and incorporated them to how society, where they belong behaves and view things. Questions are asked whenever abnormalities are noticed in the children's behaviors on how they were trained by their parents and clashes might occur.
Recently there's an outburst on the social media platforms where a female student fought her lecturer for only touching her back and saying "excuse me" so as to make way for him to pass through the busy hallway filled with other students. It's captured in the camera courtesy of the video making by the same student. Obviously, the student lacks manner and respect for elders. Everyone noticed that but blames her parents more. Reason is simple, the society believes that it's her parent's role to train her on how to respond and respect her elders and authorities. Truly, the man in this picture is old to be her father and commands respect from her. Her lecturer indeed, a symbol of authority not to be toiled with.
Not defending her parents and their roles over her upbringing, but this is just a sample of what parents now faced. The urge to be known and for viral videos have erodes many training and education, parents taught their children. Remember that the girl is busy with her phone and making TikTok videos. She valued her videos more as such view the obstruction even if it's a gentle touch by her lecturer is the big sin ever and ready to settle it with him violently.
Insincerity of Parents And Society
The best form of teaching these youngsters is by good examples of their parents and elders that forms the society where they belong. Everyone should be responsible to the problems of raising a well-mannered children for better society. Because the bad example of others can affects the naivety of these young minds. For example, the obvious lies from our political class. When questioned about the money lost in her office, a government official attribute the lost to a mysterious monkey that visited her office. Kids are learning and will shock the society with their ill-fated lies and accusations. Remember that female student being discussed earlier accusing the innocent lecturer of folding and touching her breast is a biggest societal fault which everyone should be ashamed of. Without the help of that camera, many people would have believed her and some still accuse the man of bad intentions over the girl but good testimonies of many of his students saved him. A powerful lessons being learned.

Parents are trying their best over the training of their children. Child education is never an easy one because many factors are involved. To have a good society where good norms are promoted and values are respected. Factors like technology should be considered seriously and everyone becomes mindful of how we behave and our utterances because it can affect the good training, parents offers their children.
