Good health and personal hygiene practices are very important in making us leave physically and mentally healthy.
There is this feeling I have when I know that I am clean, and I feel much better when I know that I don't have dirty stuff around too.
These things are very simple to do, but there are people who feel lazy at times.
Personal hygiene is very simple to do, and here are some of the things you do to keep yourself clean and in good health:
Oral Hygiene: This is the way you keep your mouth clean and have a fresh breath every time. Brushing your mouth at least twice a day will give you a fresh breath. You don't need to stay till the afternoon before you brush because they wait until they need to go out before they can brush. Make sure you stay clean orally.
Bathing: This should be done very early and twice every day. Take your bath and rob a good cream too.
Use of Deodorant: Make sure you use this too, as it will help you stay dry and make you smell fine. You won't have to be taking your bath every time because deodorant makes you stay dry and not smell.
Washing Your Hands: Make sure you wash your hands and make them clean at all times. Do not allow your nails to be dirty, and make sure that you cut them properly. If you want to keep them long, make sure that they are clean.
Hair Care: Keep your hair clean and properly groomed to avoid lice.
Clean Clothes: Make sure you study yourself and know how you sweat so that you know if to repeat a particular clothes or not. Make sure that you don't make the next person uncomfortable.
Good Menstrual Hygiene: Ladies should know how to take care of themselves when they are seeing their monthly circle. Do not use a pad. for the whole day, change it, and make sure you take your bath and clean yourself from time to time to avoid having an offensive odor.
Healthy Practices:
Eat Balanced Diet: Make sure that you eat food that contains the six classes of food and also take enough water to balance it too. No matter how much you have, make sure that you eat something balanced.
Sharing of Personal Items: Avoid sharing personal items like razors, makeup brushes, towels, underwear, etc. so that you would avoid infection.
Sleep: Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep, as this will help you refresh your memory and help your body recover too.
Stress Management: Practice stress-reducing techniques like deep breathing. Do not allow anything to stress you out; make sure you ask for help when you can't get through.
Regular Check-ups: This will help you know your health status and it will also help you on how to select your diet too.
These are not very hard to do; to stay healthy, you need to do all of these.
