The imagination of going back in time can be very crazy at times because it will only make you live in the fantasy of whatever you were thinking about.
I heard that in the 1990s and in the 2000s, things were very cheap, and people could afford whatever they needed. At those times, life was not hard, and people trusted themselves because there was a low rate of corruption. I believe that in those days I would have achieved a lot of things because the standard of living was low and there was nothing like corruption.
Foods were cheap, and the cost of transport was also low, so I would have been a billionaire; I would have saved and made sure that I built houses and also made sure I achieved so many things.
What I have actually accumulated now would have been useful to do a lot of things in those days. The economy has really become very poor now; it is very hard to achieve what was very easy at that time.
The faster life has become because of technology, the more expensive things also become.
These days it is very hard for people to be patient because technology has really made life simple and faster.
So I would just choose whatever life has to offer me; if we can go back to the 2000s, it's okay, or maybe we just live the way we are living now. It is better we live the way we ought to live; life is very hard now, so the only thing we need to do is strategied our lives and make sure that we are living fine, because the truth is that things will not go back to how they were; they will still become tougher every year.
So the only thing we need to do is work more, save more and learn more so as to fit in with whatever will be coming.
We have to double the skill and knowledge whatever we are doing to earn a living so that we will not have to be left behind in the nearest future. You cannot say that you want to reduce your needs and wants; if you do so, it will be very hard for you to live. For instance, if you want to go for a very low educational system, then you will have to get the little knowledge that system would give, and you may not be who you ought to be. The only thing we need now is to work more and make more money so as to be at the level that will make us comfortable.
Life in the 1990s and in the 2000s is not different from now; it is only stepped up. What was there those times with the low standard of living is now present now with a very high standard of living, and it will not stop; it will only increase from one level to another.
