They say Love is a beautiful thing right? But what now happens when the love grows to be unconditional?
When people hear the words "unconditional love" the first thing that comes to their mind is "parents" They have this feeling that only their parents' love is unconditional and that is why this particular phrase " a monkey isn't fine but his mum likes him like that" is becoming rapid every day".
Now the phrase above is for the parents' love that people have dimmed to be unconditional but then there is another one "Beauty in the eyes of the beholder" Now this particular one is for spouses who love their partners for who they are, now that can be seen as unconditional love as well.
Some people might see unconditional love as standing up for a friend whether the friend is right or wrong or being the most responsible one in a friend circle but then it all boils down to one word which is "love" because you can't stand up for someone you don't love when they are wrong.

Before I proceed further I would like to explain the term "unconditional love" in my understanding of the word. The term above seems very difficult to get a definite and acceptable definition for, I don't think there is a particular definition that has been generally accepted by the public, different people have different definitions of the term and that can be shaky.
My definition: Unconditional love is a love void of conditions, it's a love that tells you "I don't need a reason to love you but I just love you" It's a love that expects nothing in return. This kind of love can be between anyone in any kind of ship "You name it" friendship, a relationship that's the almighty one that most people believe but you know where it can't be found "in a situationship" what am I even saying!!.
People believe there is no such thing as unconditional love, especially in the world today which is full of wickedness but I still believe that even amid wickedness love can be found, how am I sure? Well, I'm very sure cause wicked people do "fall in love" I have also heard someone say "Humans are not capable of giving unconditional love" and that it's only the creator that loves us unconditionally, no doubt God loves unconditionally but then the scriptures still said "we are an image of the creator" and what he posses we possess as well so "we are capable of giving unconditional love".
They say "Be the change you wish to see in others" I've given it a thorough thinking and the outcome of my thoughts is that unconditional love starts from within before it is extended to the outside world. Before we love someone else unconditionally we owe ourselves the responsibility to love ourselves because we can't give what we don't have, is what we have we give.
When we love ourselves and accept ourselves for who we truly are then we are capable of accepting other people's flaws without the desire to change them and that is unconditional love right, so in conclusion unconditional love starts from us before it's extended to others, when we learn to love ourselves we learn to others as well.
