The Deccani Nawabi mahal or Nawabi architecture, could be a form of type of architecture that was a results of the Mughal-Deccani synthesis, which came about within the Deccan region during the 16th and 17th centuries. one in all its main features is that the use of perforated screens instead of walls.
The exterior window with stain glasses and timber frame

Beautiful German tiles
The buildings are an expression of the cultural exchange and fusion that transpire between the Deccan sultanates and therefore the Mughals. They represent a more flamboyant, sensual, playful style in contrast to the more restrained Mughal architecture. This movement created new types of architectural expression that drew inspiration from vernacular styles.
The Mughals were a Central Asian Turko-Persian dynasty who, having established the Mughal empire in 1526, rapidly expanded to hide most of the Indian subcontinent by the 16th century.
The beautiful stained glass ceiling
Around 1600, Deccan sultanates became increasingly independent from Mughal control. one in all these sultanates was Hyderabad Deccan, which had an style of architecture that was different from the opposite Deccani Nawabi mahals.
Cast iron staircase
This right here is an architectural marvel, the Nawab Mahal, and the story behind it is just as captivating . It was built 220 years ago by a wealthy Barid Shahi Nawab from Begumpet. The mahal is situated only 60 kms from Humnabad and reflects the luxurious life that was led by the royal family back in the day. The house is full of imported items such as tiles from Germany and glasses from Belgium . The lamps staircase, for example, was built with cast iron and was specially imported from Birmingham in England.
Crockery stand with jugs
This is a single-storey building with balanced amount of ornamentation and a structure that would simply make you see the actual beauty of stained glass. The antique crockery stands with various beautifully decorated jugs and other musical instruments kept on the floor this sure was a visually pleasing structure.
The chandeliers complimented the ceiling of stained glasses so so much. The moment I entered this space I didn't blink ( yes , it's bit of an exaggeration keeping in mind how much time I spent here ). Every nook and corner of this beautiful house was my favourite. Experiencing all the beautiful houses with different architectural styles was an a good one , but experiencing this particular one was an experience in it's self. It was one which I won't be able to forget and I know for a fact if not for any other house , I would go back to see this one.
Saved the best for the last! This is what you get to see on your way out from the Deccani Nawabi Mahal. Such wonderful views isn't it ?
