Yesterday I upgraded my old manual Helios 44-2 lens. I also showed how it works yesterday (I could not wait for today to share my joy). So, in order to test this lens in its new quality, I went to a wild city park called Shuvalovsky. With the weather, I was not lucky, every now and then it rained and it was quite cool. But I was lucky with another. I met Mesmakher's dacha again.
This is a beautiful wooden house, which is in the process of destruction. Unfortunately. To my deep regret. This is a truly outstanding example of wooden architecture.
Of course, I couldn't just walk past him and not take a few pictures. Moreover, I walked around this dacha from all sides. My reward was ... a handful of raspberries. I never thought I could find raspberries in the fall. It was a gift from Mesmacher or the Spirit who still lives in this ... castle.
To me, this old wooden house really looks like an old haunted castle. I don't even know if I want to have it repaired and restored. I am afraid that the use of new technologies, materials and paints will deprive him of this chic look. But on the other hand, it hurts me to watch how it collapses.
The house is overgrown with trees and bushes. It is not easy to find a point to photograph this building. Either you come close and the house does not fit into the frame, or you move away and the house hides among the trees. I tried to find some kind of compromise and you will see different shots. Somewhere the whole house will be visible, somewhere its separate parts.
By the way, the gloomy weather was very consistent with the appearance of this house. It looks like they were on the same wavelength. Here are just wet bushes and thick grass ... but I dealt with it. As you noticed, I started to walk around the house moving clockwise, that is, from the left side. And the further I went, the sadder the view became ...
The backyard was practically destroyed, the lower window was knocked out and it was possible to get inside. But my clothes were not appropriate for such an event. I continued to walk around this dilapidated ghost castle and ended up in a kind of garden.
There were several old apple trees and bushes of wild garden raspberries. In addition, ordinary trees grew. Nobody has looked after the garden for a long time.
There is no beauty of the front façade, but rather just outbuildings. But they may have appeared later.
Maybe this brick chimney was inside the building. Over the years, a lot could have changed.
And now I will show you a photo of this house, which I took with an updated lens. Unfortunately, in this modification, the lens lost its focus to infinity. But I will fix it, but for now this is ... an oil painting.
On this note, I say goodbye to you until we meet again.
Take care of yourself and your loved ones.
