Hey Architect lovers, I'm already designing some furniture for the Green Home and among them is a beautiful industrial-style Mobile Room Separator that is an idea with the rest of the work.
As you know, I like to work from recycling and use everything I have nearby.
One of the most polluting things about traditional construction and renovations are precisely those remains of construction sites and boats, these wastes are normally a problem, if they are useful things they end up hidden in any corner and these are precisely the challenges that attract me to create and make them useful again, I see a lot of potential in those things that for others are only waste or leftover materials from a work.
But by putting a little ingenuity into it we transform them into useful and wonderful things.
This time I did it by designing this room divider using surplus 1/2-inch rods from the construction site, these were left over from materials purchased for the construction of the bases of the Container House and remaining wood from the Deck project, along with a mesh of galvanized steel rescued from some polypropylene panels from a neighbor from whom I asked for several sheets, which she has abandoned for several years.
These are just the things that inspire me, so I came up with this simple and beautiful room divider design.
In the case of Green Homes, our Designs are open concept, but there is undoubtedly space that needs some privacy, such as the bedrooms and bathrooms and this Room Divider will be a Mobil wall that divides in a subtle, decorative way. and very useful to living room.
Design and Construction of Mobile Room Separator
Observing what I had on hand I started to design, I saw some references but they still didn't completely convince me.
So I decided to capture these conventional measurements of room dividers in the design that I came up with with my colorful touch.
This Mobil room divider has ideal measurements for any space, measuring 190 x 120 x 30 cm.

Base:
I have always loved wood and it is normally part of the materials that I always look to include in designs for its warmth, beauty and versatility, so I decided to make the base of the separator with wood, but not only for its touch but also to give it greater stability to the furniture and thus use that fusion of metal and wood so used in industry.
Rod structure
I used the 1/2 inch rods to give the structure to the Environment separators.
For this, we make about 30 cuts, according to the measurements and in total we use 4 rods, to which we apply zinc chromate.
To assemble I needed support with welding, so we went to a friend's workshop with all the parts and tools, since I am not yet an expert welder.

We had to remove the paint we anchored with a little since it is necessary for the metal to be exposed so that the welding points stick.
We weld with 60-13 electrodes, taking the necessary pauses to level and assemble each piece.
It was difficult for us at the beginning to get the necessary power to weld, because we still don't know the machine very well until we managed to find it and everything was easier there.
We have carried out this process in 3 days of work since it has been free time and since it is the first piece that we assemble, there are always details and care.
Now we need to place the mesh, give it color, assemble the wooden drawers, sand and place the wheels on the Ambiente Movil dividers.

Diseño y Construcción de separador de Ambiente Movil 1Era Parte 🔨| Hogar Verde
Hey amantes de la Arquitecta ya estoy diseñando algunos muebles para el Hogar Verde y entre ellos está un hermoso Separador de Ambiente Movil de estilo industrial que e idea con resto de obra .
Cómo saben me gusta trabajar desde el reciclaje y darle uso a todo lo que tenga cerca.
Una de las cosas más contaminantes de la construcción tradicional y las remodelaciones son justamente esos restos de obras y botes, estos desperdicios son normalmente un problema, si son cosas útiles terminan rinconadas en cualquier esquina y justo estos son los retos que me atraen para crear y hacerlas útiles nuevamente, yo veo mucho potencial es esas cosas que para otros solo son desecho o materiales sobrantes de una obra.
Pero al ponerle un poco de ingenio las transformamos en cosas útiles y maravillosas.
Esta vez lo hice diseñando este separador de ambiente dándole uso a cabillas 1/2 pulgadas excedentes de obra, estás nos quedaron de materiales comprados para la construcción de las bases de la Casa Container y madera restante de proyecto de Deck, junto a una malla de acero galvanizada rescatada de unos paneles de polipropileno de una vecina a la que le pedí varias láminas, que tiene abandonadas desde hace ya varios años.
Son justo estás cosas las que me inspiración, así que me ide este sencillo y hermoso diseño de separador de ambiente.
En el caso de los Hogares Verdes nuestro Diseños son de concepto abierto, pero sin duda hay espacio que necesitan algo de privacidad, como lo son las habitaciones y los baños y este separador de Ambiente sera una pared Movil que divide de una manera sutil , decorativa y muy útil a Sala de la habitación.
Diseñó y Construcción de Separador de Ambiente Movil
Observando lo que tenia a la mano empeze a diseñar, ví algunas referencias pero que aún no me convencia del todo .
Así que decidi plasmar estás medidas convencionales de separadores de ambiente en el diseño que ide con mi colorido toque.
Este separador de ambiente Mobil tiene unas medida ideales para cualquier espacio , mide 190 x 120 x 30 cm.
Cómo siempre me ayuda ideal
La base:
La madera siempre me a encantado y normalmente es parte de los materiales que siempre busco incluir en los diseños por su calidez , belleza y versatilidad , así que la base del separador decidi hacer con madera, pero no solo por su toque sino también para darle mayor estabilidad al mueble y así usar esa fusión tan usada en lo industrial de metal y madera.
Estructura de cabillas
Las cabillas de 1/2 pulgada las use para darle la estructura al separados de Ambiente.
Para esto realizamos un próximo de 30 cortes, según las medidas y en total usamos 4 cabillas, a las que le aplicamos cromato de zinc .
Para ensamblar necesite de apoyo con soldadura , así que nos fuimos al taller de un amigo con todas las pieza y herramientas, ya que aún no soy una experta soldadora.

Nos tocó remover un poco la pintura con la que fondeamos ya que es necesario que el metal este descubierto para que los puntos de soldadura se peguen .
Soldamos con electrodos 60-13 haciendo las pausas necesarias para nivelar y ensamblar cada pieza .
Nos costo al inicio tomarle la potencia necesaria para soldar, por aún no conocemos muy bien la maquina hasta que logramos dar con ella y allí todo fue más fácil .
Este proceso lo hemos realizado en 3 días de trabajo ya que a sido de ratos libres y al ser la primera pieza que ensamblamos siempre hay detalles y cuidados.
Ahora nos falta colocarle la malla , darle color , armar los cajones de madera , lijar y colocarle las ruedas al separadores de Ambiente Movil.
Pronto les traerle la segunda parte y el final de como luce nuestro separador de ambiente .
