Hello guys, I have returned with one more post and my summary of my last month without posting, to get into context as you know I emigrated from my country and now the work is hyper fundamental. In the new country where I live, I went from being an architect to being a draftsman in a wood workshop for a month and now I will talk a little about my experience. Experience that led me to get lost many times in a new city haha the good thing is that Google maps always located me when I was lost, and even once I was leaving the city for taking the wrong bus haha.
After having arrived, rested and all that on the third day I already began to put resumes, seeing the little receptivity and in other cases not being able to apply because it was not yet legal at all (I am in process), I began to expand on other areas that were neither photography nor architecture. And that's how by putting job vacancies I got my first job about a week and a half after arriving.
I started working in a business with a cnc router, cutting and engraving on wood, in which I applied as a design draftsman, in the end I ended up doing everything (typical of jobs in this country). I was in charge of digitizing many designs that they sent, I also learned to machine the designs to be able to work them with the machine, I learned to use tools such as the drill and another machine that is used to cut wood (I do not remember the name).
I used new programs, from the ones I was familiar with like autocad and sketchup, to others that they taught me such as Rhino, Coreldraw and Artcam. In the process, you started with the order and its design, the client had it and only had to digitize it, then put that digitization in the machining program and it was not always right and you could continue, by this I mean that many times It was necessary to go back with the design because it had a problem with vectors, edges, double lines, the fluidity of some curves, or closed polygons, and thus be able to continue. Machining is a process in which the design is entered and the machine is told when depth, accuracy, speed, and strength we want for the work to be carried out on the wood. Then the table must be cleaned and the wood where the work will be done, adjusting with screws or squares, and thus put the machine to work while supervising that there is no irregularity, that the table does not rise or sag in the process and the cuts are effective.
In this post I show you different works that were carried out within a team of 4 people (I am not the full author of any of these) but I want to share with you the good experiences of having had this work, and of course not everything is good, there are things negatives that existed but do not contribute anything so I will reserve them.
Currently I left that job for a reason that maybe in another post I will tell you, but in conclusion I am and I feel much better now.

Hola chicos, he vuelto con un post más y mi resumen de mi último mes sin postear, para entrar en contexto como saben emigré de mi país y ahora el trabajo es hiper fundamental. En el nuevo país en donde vivo pasé de arquitecto a ser dibujante en un taller de madera por un mes y ahora hablaré un poco sobre mi experiencia. Experiencia que me llevó a perderme muchas veces en una ciudad nueva jaja lo bueno es que Google maps siempre me ubicaba cunado estaba perdido, e incluso una vez estaba saliendo de la ciudad por tomar el bus equivocado jaja.
Luego de haber llegado, descansado y todo eso al tercer día ya empecé a meter hojas de vida, al ver la poca receptividad y en otros casos no poder postular por no estar legal del todo aún (estoy en proceso), empecé a ampliarme en otras áreas que no fueran ni fotografia ni arquitectura. Y así fue como metiendo vacantes de trabajo conseguí mi primer empleo como a la semana y media de haber llegado.
Empecé a trabajar en un negocio con routeadora cnc, corte y grabados sobre madera, en el cual postulé como dibujante de diseño, al final terminé haciando de todo (típico de los empleos en este país). Me encargué de digitalizar muchos diseños que mandaban, también aprendí a mecanizar los diseños para poder trabajarlos con la máquina, aprendí a usar herramientas como el taladro y otra maquina que se usa para cortar madera (no recuerdo el nombre).
Usé programas nuevos, desde los que conocía como autocad y sketchup, hasta otros que me enseñaron tales como Rhino, Coreldraw y Artcam. En el proceso se empezaba con el encargo y su diseño, avécese l cliente lo tenía y sólo había que digitalizarlo, luego meter esa digitalización en el programa de mecanizado y no siempre estaba bien y se podía proseguir, con esto me refiero a que muchas veces había que volver atrás con el diseño porque tenía problema de vectores, de aristas, doble líneas, fluidez de alguna curvas, o polígonos cerrados y así sí poder proseguir. Al mecanizar es un proceso en que se ingresa el diseño y se le dice a la maquina cuando de profundidad, exactitud, rapidez, y fuerza queremos para el trabajo a ejecutar en la madera. Luego se debe limpiar la mesa y poner ajustando con tornillos o escuadras la madera en donde se hará el trabajo, y así poner a trabajar la maquina mientras se supervisa de que no exista alguna irregularidad, que la tabla no se levante o pandee en el proceso y los cortes sean efectivos.
En este post les muestro distintos trabajos que se realizaron dentro de un equipo de 4 personas (no soy autor pleno de ninguno de estos) pero quiero compartir con ustedes las buenas experiencias de haber tenido esta labor, y claro no todo es bueno, hay cosas negativas quee existieron pero no aportan nada así que me las reservaré.
