More than two weeks ago, I visited the city of Varadero, where I enjoyed a family outing and we arranged to have lunch at El Retiro restaurant, located in Josone Park, in the middle of nature.

After hours at sea, our appetites were ravenous and we headed to the park. Upon arrival, the beauty of the place left us speechless from the first moment. As we walked along the paths, we were surprised by the exuberant vegetation that spread around us, with beautiful flowering bushes of various colors that gave life to the place.

Josone Park is located at the intersection of 1st Avenue and 56th Street, in Varadero and owes its name to its founders, José and Onelia, who in 1942 decided to baptize this hacienda with the first three letters of their names. I really liked the openwork wood work that it has, both in the railings and in the work that is attached to the roof, from any place that one occupies there is always a view of the lake, which makes this place have a strategic position within the park , plus all the surroundings are adorned with flowering plants.

I must say that this building is the most refined in the place, with its neoclassical style and its history as the former home of the couple that owns the entire Hacienda.
Para entrar al restaurante "El Retiro" a almorzar, tuvimos que ponernos ropa más adecuada.
