Good evening Hive friends who are in this community, there are so many buildings with unique architecture and local nuances that I have shared with friends in this community. starting from those that are really beautiful and well maintained and there are also beautiful buildings that are abandoned, and many beautiful abandoned buildings that I have encountered in Aceh Province as an example of a beautiful monument that resembles the Taj Mahal which I have shared with all HIVE friends there is in this community and one more building which in my opinion is very beautiful with a lot of construction costs in it but not well maintained. And tonight I will also share with all my friends in this community that I have found another beautiful abandoned building, even though this building is an icon of pride for the city of Loksumawe, Aceh.
This building is a mosque, this mosque is said to be a grand mosque because it is one of the largest mosques in Loksumawe City, because I captured this building using an ordinary Android camera, so it cannot cover the building of this mosque as a whole, so we can only take a few photos of this building. separately.
This building is very magnificent with many entrances from various sides, but it is really a pity that the walls on the outside of the mosque are not well maintained and these walls appear black with mold and rain, even though this mosque is right next to the government office local area, however the mosque grounds are slightly maintained with large courtyards that are clean and free of tree debris and plastic waste.
The entrances and exits of this mosque are built very high to resemble a fortress with natural stone arrangements and cream-colored premium granite stones making the appearance of this mosque look more natural. To enter this mosque, visitors have to climb a lot of stairs, and if I count the stairs in this mosque there are almost 50 steps with a staircase motif that is made in the same color as the entrance gate and above the entrance gate there are many carvings with a combination of aceh cultural nuances combined with modern floral motifs. I got this information from mosque officials who are still repairing the mosque to expand the mosque building again.
The terrace of this mosque is made with a combination of gray granite, which I believe is meant by the architecture of this building to make it look much more natural, resembling the original stone. Enter to dive deeper into the mosque, we will resemble various kinds of mosque pillars ranging from round to square-shaped and each pillar has a different granite model, the round pillars are deliberately adapted from Spanish columns with white marble veins that adorns it, then the rectangular shaped pillars have two motifs, some are made with white granite and some are made with brown granite like the entrance
The roofs of this mosque are made like a motif of continuous tree roots which are painted white. I see these prints like iron or what do you think? I'm not good at explaining it. And the other roofs of the mosque are still under repair including the pulpits in this mosque.
Overall this building is very beautiful, spacious and can accommodate more than 10,000 worshipers, but what must be considered is the maintenance of the mosque so that this mosque does not look rundown. What do you think. Hopefully you can give your opinion on this post. Greetings from us, Tomi and Maya, from the city of Binjai, Indonesia
