As I have said, I like traveling by motorbike because I think it is very effective and efficient. In the middle of my way home from holiday one month ago I accidentally passed this magnificent mosque, at first I didn't want to stop to save time but it seemed like it would be a shame if we didn't stop and it wasn't certain that we would travel here again so we decided to turn around a little and rested for a while and bought some snacks at small traders around the mosque and the city we visited was called SIPIROK City.
The building that I will review is the only and grandest mosque in Sipirok City and this mosque was just inaugurated about 2 years ago by the local government and the name of this mosque itself is Syahrun Nur Grand Mosque. And one of the most striking things about this building is the green color of the dome, very dominant and it is very rare for mosques to be bright green like this, then this green color is in sharp contrast to the dominant cream color of the building with lots of carvings surrounding the pillars. - dome pillars. So the color of the dome was deliberately made to attract tourists around the city, in fact many tourists outside the city make this mosque a tourist spot because next to this mosque there is a flower garden, the regional government center and lots of light snacks there which I found a lot of interesting things. non-Muslim visitors here. They stop to rest and just take photos in this magnificent building and enjoy the view of the flower garden.
FROM THE FRONT PAGE
If I make the title of the front page it means there will be a back page, but because this mosque is very wide and I am already tired from climbing the previous hill, my husband and I can no longer bear to see the back page so I will only share the condition of the front page which is pretty good. crowded. And you can see how wide the front yard of this mosque is, so that from the front yard to the main yard of the mosque requires extra energy and after arriving at the main terrace of the mosque, free sandal storage is provided because to enter the mosque terrace we are not allowed to wear footwear.
MOSQUE TERRACE
Arriving at the terrace of the mosque, I had to gather extra energy to enter the mosque, however, the design on the terrace of this mosque was very beautiful. There are corridors that are lined up so it is very good to capture photos here. Not only that, on the terrace of this mosque there are also other hallways that are connected so that when it rains, visitors, both Muslim and non-Muslim, can take shelter here. When I saw this hallway from up close, this hallway is equipped with a roof designed with colored PVC. cream and the supporting pillars are covered with granite, to forget a little about the plain impression of the hallway, instant carvings were made which I call the current roster, giving the building a lively impression. And one interesting thing, the floor on the terrace of this mosque is not made plain but has a combination of granite colors with floral patterns, making this terrace more colorful.
IN THE MOSQUE
Entering the mosque courtyard I was faced again with a welcome gate like a door but it was not a door. On the gate I could see very beautiful carvings and I even saw that the carvings looked like flowing water and there were many more mixed design carvings there and I didn't quite understand how to explain them.
Inside the mosque, because it is only for worship, this room is just made plain with a thick green carpet with cool motifs spread out there, on top of the mosque the dome design is like a carving adopted from Turkey or Morocco, I forget but I have seeing a design similar to this, the walls inside the mosque are all made of granite with an elegant gray pattern and there are many more things that I really want to tell you, but because this is all related to carvings and I'm afraid that these carvings have meaning, I'll just end the information. This.
Apart from what I told you, you can also enjoy various photos that I took, starting from lamp posts, mini gardens, fountains that are not yet functioning and many others. Now enjoy my post and thank you for stopping by here. Greetings from maytom, Indonesia
