As the Vice Principal for Student Affairs at my school, one of my duties is to negotiate with several companies in my city so that they can accept our school's learning program to hold Excursion studies or direct learning outside of school as well as to relax the mind for a moment so that students do not get bored to continue learning in the classroom. Usually I will negotiate the program with the company 3 months before the learning outside is carried out.
And today I will go to negotiate our Learning Program in a Company engaged in palm oil plantations, and tea leaves which are then processed into several superior products in Indonesia, but my reference is the Tea Factory under the auspices of this Company. This company is located in Medan while the tea plantation is in Siantar City which is indeed the largest tea plantation center in North Sumatra. But now I will focus on telling you about the PTPN IV campus.
Although I was not allowed to photograph the inside of the office, because it is a secret and privacy, I was still allowed to photograph the outside which is surrounded by a flower garden. I have been to this office several times and every time I come here there is always something new that I find.
This Dutch East Indies heritage office is very thick with large Spanish-style pillars that support it and are also reinforced with a very distinctive window shape that this building is a Dutch East Indies heritage building which is certainly very identical to colossal buildings like this and if in my area someone can immediately know this building is a Modern building or a Dutch East Indies building, one of which is the use of comb-style windows and large, dense pillars and a building model that tends to be short. Even so, this office is very beautiful with a garden design that is very soulful that this yard is like a soulmate in this office and not many government offices in my area have an open garden design like the one I will show.
This park is very well maintained and very clean and there are many mini plants around the park. The parks on the sides of the office building with flowers that are intentionally designed uniquely and some ornamental plants make this office very beautiful and make this classic building into a building like an official residence, not like an office in general. And if we look from behind the building, this park looks even more beautiful with unique designs so that it is not boring. Many seats are intentionally made to resemble wooden blocks to look much more natural and more beautiful of course, the benches are made not only one but also in a circular shape. And in the middle of the bench there is a table that is also made of cement that is shaped like wood that is much larger than the bench so that the natural impression looks perfect.
And I saw seats like this in several places. And in another corner of the park I saw ditches made for fish, but at this time it had just been harvested and had not been put back, and I saw in this corner of the park it looked much simpler compared to the park above. The park in the corner of the Public Relations department only had long white chairs that went around without tables and then short grass. Much simpler compared to the park design above, then on each side there were large frangipani trees so that during the day the shadow of the frangipani tree wandered to the white bench so that it did not cause heat. However, I feel that these parks are more suitable to be enjoyed in the morning and evening. However, it turns out that these parks are designed for guests who are waiting for files and special parks for smokers. Although the design of this park is also to beautify the view in the middle of an office building surrounded by other buildings so that it looks very boring.
And the existence of this garden design is very helpful for workers to relieve stress in the midst of piling work and is very helpful for beauty and reducing urban air pollution which is very worrying. And this is very effective in use in big cities. Greetings from maytom, indonesia
