Немного о работе | A little about the work of an architect

Today I want to share the process of creating a model of a country house. One client with a very high income wants to build a house. A fantastically beautiful place on the bank of the river was chosen for the construction. The client sent a sketch of the future house. This is how it looks:

So my task is simple. An unknown person drew a sketch of an idea. Who is the author - I do not know. I have to answer, the proposed idea is interesting. But I have an opinion that this idea is borrowed. I've already seen this project somewhere. On the other hand, today it is difficult to come up with something completely new. In literature, it is difficult to come up with something after seven plots of the great Shakespeare, but in music ... in general, there are only seven notes ...

Of course, I will be silent about the secondary nature of the idea. This time they don't ask me about it - my job is to check the sketch for viability by building a three-dimensional model.

In this case, I am surprised that a client with such a high income did not place an order with one architect or some popular bureau. Instead, the order is passed from hand to hand. Moreover, at the first stage, a non-professional worked with the order. And in general, as I understand it, the client did not want to order a project, planning to do with sketches. Well, the rich have their quirks ...

Сегодня я хочу поделиться процессом создания модели загородного дома. Один клиент, имеющий очень высокий доход, желает построить дом. Для строительства выбрано фантастически красивое место на берегу реки. Клиент прислал эскиз будущего дома. Вот как он выглядит:

Итак моя задача проста. Некий неизвестный нарисовал эскиз-набросок идеи. Кто автор - мне неизвестно. Я должен ответить, предложенная идея интересная. Но у меня есть мнение, что эта идея заимствована. Я уже где-то видел этот проект. С другой стороны, сегодня трудно придумать что-то совершенно новое. В литературе трудно придумать что-то после семи сюжетов великого Шекспира, а в музыке... вообще всего семь нот...

Разумеется, я буду умалчивать о вторичности идеи. В этот раз меня об этом не просят - моё дело проверить эскиз на жизнеспособность, построив трехмерную модель.

В данном случае меня удивляет, что клиент имеющий столь высокий доход не разместил заказ у одного архитектора или в каком-то популярном бюро. Вместо этого заказ передается из рук в руки. Причем на первом этапе с заказом работал непрофессионал. И вообще, как я понял, клиент не хотел заказывать проект, планируя обойтись эскизами. Ну что ж у богатых свои причуды...
