Checking into a hotel you've never been to before can be full of surprises. Usually there will be many designs that have never been thought of before.
A hotel in Batam City surprised me with a new fun experience about unique and interesting design. That made me want to share it with you guys in the Architecture Community.
OS STYLE HOTEL
A hotel in the Batu Aji area, Batam City, which has a low price and is also an attractive place to stay is OS STYLE HOTEL. Chose this location because it is close to the Barelang bridge tourist attraction.
There are also several other OS STYLE HOTELS in the centers of popular tourist areas in Batam City. So, it can be adapted to tourist destinations if you visit Batam City.
DOMINATE PURPLE COLOR
All buildings in OS STYLE HOTEL are dominated by purple. From the outside, this hotel already attracts attention.
As soon as you enter the lobby, there are several beautiful sofas that also have a purple color and color gradations that are close to purple.
In the lobby area, you can already see music vibes. Seen from several guitars that are used as accessories as a display near the sofa.
LIKE A CINEMA HALWAYS
As soon as I got to my room, the hallways were decorated with movie posters. The wall colors also use purple.
There are many of my favorite old movies here! For example, TITANIC and THE MUMMY. Are these two movies your favorite too?
The room numbers use the form of stars which also contain song lyrics. One of the lyrics is from the song "home" by Daughtry.
In front of my room, a beautiful lyric and I was stunned for a moment.
i'm going home, to the place where i belong
and where your love as always been enough for me.”
LIKE SLEEPING WITH BON JOVI
Continuing into the room, I get a surprise. A big BON JOVI poster is on my bedroom wall! Instantly the song It's My Life rang in my head.
This hotel has a great concept. I think they want to make guests feel the sensation of staying with famous artists and musicians.
Minimalist hotel room design. The room looks neat and clean, also spacious. The purple colors make the atmosphere more romantic.
Another interesting part, there is a tool for hanging clothes. It uses the f scale form. The concept of music and movies in a hotel that seems detailed. Good job for them.
BATHROOM
Meanwhile, the white partitions are the bathroom area. Only the bathroom is not purple. But that's actually good because it makes the bathroom area look bright and clean.
In addition to my preferred room to stay in, I'll show you another area that's just as beautiful.
THE HOTEL RESTAURANT
There is a poster of the iconic Marilyn Monroe face. The interior of the hotel restaurant is dominated by wood, although there are still elements that apply purple.
The restaurant at OS STYLE HOTEL is attached to the pool area. This allows visitors to dine out while enjoying the romantic atmosphere of the swimming pool.
view from outside the restaurant. It merges with the swimming pool area, with purple light from a love-shaped lamp.
The pool area fence also uses purple. When there are lights at night the colors will reflect romantic vibes towards the pool. Brilliant design in my opinion.
It feels like I won't want to leave this place!
SPACES ON THE 2nd FLOOR
On the 2nd floor location there is also a relaxing area like a living room in a house. There is a comfortable sofa and from the 2nd floor you can also look down to the 1st floor.
The use of decorative lamps that are large and long in the shape of hanging down further gives the vibes of luxury. The vibes of luxury that usually exist in the world of music and movies.
Besides these things, it's as if they never stop making works of art. The high walls that were not touched by hands were made with lots of graffiti. Looks like comic strips!
An exciting experience staying at OS STYLE HOTEL, batam city. Next time I go to this city, I will try to visit the OS STYLE HOTEL which is in another area. Maybe there will be new surprises there. Who knows.
