My architecture trip this time was at an outdoor themed cafe which was very homey for relaxing. This trip made me want to share this inspiration. Maybe you want to create a green space area at home to relax.
Sometimes we find that there are areas in our house that are not used and only end up overgrown with weeds. I hope that the green area design inspiration that I convey can make us enthusiastic about utilizing existing land to create attractive green areas.
Bamboo Plants as Shading Roofs
Making a canopy roof to shade outdoor areas is very expensive. We can get around this by using trees. For design inspiration here, we can use bamboo trees.
Bamboo trees are curved on both sides to form a curved roof.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, fruit plants such as mangoes or other shady trees can be used to create a cooler area.
At the bottom of the bamboo trees, step stones can be added for comfortable walking.
Don't forget to diligently cut the branches of bamboo trees that quickly grow thick. Cut them according to the desired shape.
Seating Area with Natural Stone Material
If you love natural stone, adding natural stone to seating equipment could be a good choice. Your green area will look even more beautiful and comfortable for relaxing
At the place where I stopped, you could see there was a table with several seats made from natural stone. It really feels natural at one with nature and is suitable for relaxing in the afternoon.
If you have extra budget, you can add an outdoor umbrella for protection from the heat.
White Gazebo
Another interesting idea is to create a gazebo in a green area. This gazebo will make the green area more valuable and have a vintage soul.
The use of wooden materials in the gazebo will increase the classic, minimalist value.
This idea is suitable for those of you who like to relax and mingle in green areas but still want to feel the atmosphere of home. Wooden material will bring the sensation of being at home.
My architecture trip this time made me understand that wherever we live, green areas must be well laid out to evoke a relaxed, homey spirit.
The thing I like most about this green area is the use of shady trees which makes the green area in sunny city cooler. This could be an idea in urban areas to still have green areas even though the weather is dry and hot.
We can focus on plants with hard stems as well as plants that can bear fruit to use for added value, for example, mangoes, longan, lcyhee or rambutan trees.
Like public parks in general, we can apply several natural materials to still provide a natural spirit for outdoor areas.
In the end, do not forget to add extras outdoor lamp with hanging bulb style. This way will create more fun design and add romantic features when evening comes.
For longlast chair, or gazebo, we can use natural stone, or furnished chair to get extra safety surface for sun and rain expose.
For the ground, we can use Japanese grass type to cover the soil and avoid wild grass to grow. Or we can add small river to cover all the ground.
In the end, do not forget to add step stones if you had smooth grass to keep the grass fresh. I hope you enjoy there ideas about green space stuffs.
