The Maracay Hotel has a golf course, that is why it is distinguished and was built and inaugurated in the 50s of the last century, its design is the work of Luis Malaussena, a Venezuelan architect. This hotel was very important in the good times of Venezuela, before the current national regime, and it is worth mentioning that it was built during the dictatorship of Marcos Pérez Jiménez.
Quien quiera una buena panorámica de ella, debe subir a la montaña al fondo del Hotel Maracay, la primera obra arquitectónica que les menciono, pues sobre la montaña que está al pie del hotel he tomado la panorámica de la ciudad que les presento.
El Hotel Maracay, cuenta con un campo de Golf, por eso se le distingue y fue construido e inaugurado en la década de los años 50 del pasado siglo, su diseño es obra de Luis Malaussena, arquitecto venezolano. Este hotel fue muy importante en la época buena de Venezuela, antes del actual régimen nacional, y cabe mencionar que fue construido en la dictadura de Marcos Pérez Jiménez.

Its creator, the architect Raúl Villanueva was inspired by the gardens of the Palace of Versailles in Paris, as it was the perfect reference to fulfill the design of the project proposed by the then dictator Juan Vicente Gómez.
Entrando más en materia, debo destacar que importantes obras arquitectónicas han sido desarrolladas a lo largo de los años en el área metropolitana de Maracay, como la Plaza Bolívar, que es la más grande del país y de Latinoamérica con un área de 320 metros de largo × 106 metros de ancho. Es un verdadero parque urbano, con mucha vegetación y belleza arquitectónica conservada. Cada detalle fue bien dispuesto y logrando ser una obra imponente para la época y nuestros tiempos. Su creador, el arquitecto Raúl Villanueva se inspiró en los jardines del Palacio de Versalles de París, pues era referencia perfecta para cumplir el diseño del proyecto planteado por el entonces dictador Juan Vicente Gómez.

All these works that I have shown you are by the architect Carlos Raúl Villanueva, renowned and prominent Venezuelan urban planner. But he did not work alone, Guinand Sandoz and Luis Malaussena, among other prominent Venezuelan architects, also deserve credit. They were all part of the team that was in charge of the transformation of Maracay in the 1930s in the last 20th century, under the concept of the Garden City, precisely to beautify and highlight nature at the time, to make it a national icon. .
There are many works by Villanueva that I can mention and present in more detail, but that gives me the idea of creating other publications for it, since Maracay has many architectural charms to show. More than its own inhabitants believe.

Todas estas obras que les he mostrado son del arquitecto Carlos Raúl Villanueva, reconocido y destacado urbanista venezolano. Pero no trabajó solo, también merecen crédito Guinand Sandoz y Luis Malaussena, entre otros destacados arquitectos venezolanos. Todos formaron parte del equipo que se encargó de la transformación de Maracay en la década de los años 30 en el pasado Siglo XX, bajo el concepto de Ciudad Jardín, precisamente para embellecer y destacar la naturaleza en la época, para convertirla en un icono nacional.
Hay muchas obras de Villanueva que puedo mencionar y presentar más detenidamente, pero eso me da idea de crear otras publicaciones para ello, pues Maracay tiene muchos encantos que mostrar en materia arquitectónica. Más de lo que sus propios habitantes creen.
El Obelisco de San Jacinto es otro monumento digno de destacar, por lo que da la Bienvenida a la capital aragüeña, entre su gran fuente y llamativos jardines. Mostrando la ciudad, verde y colorida.
