One of our jobs was this home that lies in a fishing villiage in South Australia of which all manner of oldschool paint effects were used balaced with contemporay design. The renovation included an indoor fishtank, indoor river and forest and a place for exotic birds
The fish tank is big enough to house large ocean fish including snapper, sharks, kingfish, crayfish and there is also another outside in the marina waters in the backyard.
The decorative effects include ,woodgraining, trompe', gilding, aged finishes, scumbled finishes, marbling, and wallpapers.
It is situated on the waterfont of a Marina of which the client built from a swampy unwanted land.
One difficult task was an urn on the RHS carved with fishes relief and coloured ,out of a 1+ ton rock.
Due to hive limitations on this post, I can share more in a later post if anyone is interested. thank you TK
