Hello friends of the HIVE Community, I once shared how aesthetically pleasing Tongging Harbor is in Tongging Regency, which overlooks Lake Toba, but until now the harbor has not been completed and has even become a place of vandalism for irresponsible hands, and there are many spots. The building's vitals have also been damaged even though the building is not yet completely finished. However, it is very different from Ajibata Port in Samosir Regency. Samosir Harbor is very neat and all facilities are being used well and are starting to be orderly because many foreign tourists visit Samosir Island to enjoy a holiday.
The Aji Bata Port was also recently built, and this project coincides with 3 other ports facing Lake Toba. However, I consider Ajibata Port to be more advanced, cleaner and more comfortable and very suitable even though it is not one of the large ports in North Sumatra. This port is a crossing port from Ajibata to the city of Parapat, Lake Toba, while Ajibata itself is in the middle of Lake Toba.
Still with a strong regional concept, the Ajibata Harbor building is very oriental with the aroma of the Batak tribe which is immediately visible in every corner of the building. From the front, this building looks as if it consists of two buildings, but only the shape of the harbor roof is visible from the front, the shape of the roof is pointed, the dominant natural color is brown on the roof in front and black on the side of the roof. The roof is a simple but simple paint color collaboration. still has its own magnetic power, especially with the regional concept they take.
and from the harbor side, the shape of the building's roof doesn't have too many designs, only the roof is made slightly tapered at the edges and they give it a black color, the aim is so that the roof is not easily damaged and looks ugly if it starts to rust. and below and below the roof is designed with simple wall panels which I don't know what material this is made of. Then the pillars and list under the roof are still given a touch of typical and simple regional design in the form of traditional Batak carving motifs.
while waiting for the ship to dock, the building which consists of two floors and is equipped with an escalator is very comfortable and not hot, there are lots of seats available here and we can sit anywhere. On the second floor there is also a cafeteria which sells various kinds of drinks and snacks here. and on the second floor there is also an interesting photo spot to relieve your boredom and this photo spot directly faces Lake Toba.
The facilities available on the second floor, apart from the canteen, are also clean and comfortable toilets, then there is a prayer room and washbasin too. You won't get bored waiting 1-2 hours for the ferry to arrive. and when the ship has arrived you can walk towards the ship and enjoy the view around Lake Toba and enjoy the lake breeze, so that it doesn't get hot and rainy. Near the crossing, a canopy has also been installed to protect passengers.
and this port is really very comfortable to visit and the rules for buying tickets are also very clear here. Don't be afraid to visit Samosir Island and you won't feel like you're missing out on coming here. In the future I will show you many other beautiful buildings in my city.
Greetings Tomidiwirja, Indonesia...
