Currently, if someone says what makes you happy, I will answer with financial increases and traveling with my wife. I don't know why lately it has been very difficult to divide our time because both of our jobs are very busy approaching the holiday season in the next 2 months. Everything must be done according to schedule so that our holiday schedule is not delayed later. Before the long holiday arrived, last week I took a leisurely trip to the top of Berastagi which took 2 hours to travel from my house. It was a really tiring trip because we were riding motorbikes and I am grateful that my wife never complained about this because our hobby is the same, namely traveling.
Because my journey was quite long, then when I got home in the afternoon from the peak of Berastagi it was already afternoon and we had to do worship, so I decided to stop at one of the mosques which is located on the edge of the forest and accidentally became a rest area or resting place for visitors who will rise or fall from the peak of Berastagi. And you should know that it's not just Muslims who stop by this place, there are also many non-Muslim visitors who stop by this place just to pamper their eyes and relieve fatigue after the trip because in this mosque there are several benches and a fairly large terrace for visitors to unwind.
When I talk about this mosque, I have stopped by this place countless times when I travel to the city of Berastagi. And there have been no changes to this mosque, which means it is still as beautiful as before, and one of my favorite points about this mosque is how they shaped the architectural design so that it gives a natural impression and blends with the natural surroundings which really blends in.
This bathroom design is made with mountain rocks as the walls, then the location of the soap dish is also made of stone. Not only the bathroom, the hand washing or ablution area is also very aesthetic, really suitable for a building on the edge of the forest. Even though the bathroom floor is made using ceramics, they chose a stone motif so that it really blends in with the classic bathroom design they made.
To support the architectural design, the pillars of the mosque are also made using very old forest wood, so that termites are reluctant to eat this wood, plus a layer of varnish makes this mosque look really cool. And if you look at the walls of this mosque, are there cement walls in this building? the answer is no. The design of the walls of this mosque is made from round mountain stones for the foundation and half of the other buildings use forest wood which is flat and varnished without paint, so the natural color is really very real.
In the mosque there are also hanging lamps which are very luxurious in my opinion, because this luxury comes from nature and is also made from forest wood branches which makes this lamp really very luxurious. And inside this mosque it is very simple but makes anyone who comes to this place feel comfortable, which is why many non-Muslim visitors also come to this place.
And in another corner of the mosque there are also wooden chairs which are wide and large, then in front of the seats there are barriers made so that children visitors don't fall while playing there, because this mosque is made quite high. And this barrier is also made from forest wood branches which are painted black.
That was my ongoing assessment of this mosque over time and do you think the architectural design of this mosque is very good with the natural concept they created? leave your comments and say hello to me, Tomidiwirja from INdonesia
