Hello friends in Architecture+Design Community, A few days ago when I was on an official trip to Kabanjahe City, I passed a government building, specifically the Karo District Education Office building. This building is located on veteran street no.54 Kabanjahe City, North Sumatra Province, Indonesia.
On every land and building owned by the government, there is usually a plank or sign stating that the land or building belongs to a government agency. There are many trees in the surrounding area which make the education office building look shady.
When I saw the Karo district education office building, the first thing that caught my attention was the front fence, the design looks simple but when you look at the gold details it looks charming.
At the end of the iron plate in the shape of a mosque dome painted gold, the design is simple but still attracts attention.
The bottom of the fence is made of gray natural stone and the top is an iron fence.
The design of the pillars with a modern architectural style is combined with the design of the decorative lights which are located above the concrete pillars.
The frame design around the lights contrasts with the surrounding colors, which are mostly white. But the lamp frame, which is inspired by the traditional house of the Karo tribe, is painted in black, making the architecture of the front fence look more pleasing to the eye.
Next I will show the outside architecture of the Karo district education office building. When I entered the front yard, I could see the traditional style architecture of the Karo tribe, namely the buffalo head symbol which is located on top of the education office building. In addition, there is a lizard design which is a symbol of the Karo people. These lizards are always painted in bright colors.
Based on sources from :

The lizard symbol called "BORASPATI" means fertility and wealth for the next generation. While the buffalo head symbol on the roof of the building depicts strength and power.
The main entrance is designed in a modern way, the door is made of glass with an aluminum frame designed in a two-door style. On the main door there is also a frame made of natural stone to beautify the architecture of the front of the building. Even above the door there is natural stone arranged like a vent, I thought it was a vent made of wood but it turned out to be just a natural stone decoration.
In front of the door there are pillars to support the building, these pillars are made of cast stone and painted white. The building is an architectural style with two floors.
The architecture on the right side of the building looks interesting, there are several windows that are painted white, the window frames are made of wood which are also painted white. But the design looks interesting with a mix of natural stone that adorns around the window frame.
On the left building architecture there is a window with a minimalist design that is shipped white. The window on the left hand is equivalent to the window on the right building. The combination of natural stone designed around the window frame makes the architecture of the building look more beautiful.
Around the ventilation there is also natural stone that beautifies the design of the walls of the building.
At the front of the building, inside the fence there is a fairly large front yard, this front yard functions for ceremonies every Monday and employee coaching every morning.
That's the architecture and design of the Karo district education office building that I can share with friends who love architecture + design.
