Hearts can break, but the heart is the hardest of muscles, capable of pumping for a lifetime, seventy times a minute. Even dreams, the most delicate and intangible of things can be very difficult to disappear.

Hello #Architecture+Design community today I will tell you about the building 🏛️ Elikas. This is a two-story reinforced concrete structure with first floor and a terrace. It can be defined as such from an architectural point of view, however many times we say that it is a building that has four floors including mezzanine and first floor.
It can be evidenced that this building 🏛️ has a portico structure that is made of concrete with steel bars. It also has a facade of large windows and brick walls 🧱.
The main facade of the Elikas building has a brick finish 🧱 with two panoramic windows on the 1st and 2nd floors.
This building 🏛️ has a half-wall terrace with sliding windows and a wooden tongue and groove roof with two roof drops.
The first floor has a thirteen-step entrance, four window shutters and a parking lot on the right side.
The structure of the Elikas building has reinforced concrete columns and beams with steel reinforcement. It also has a fire protection system.
Something very interesting to highlight of this building are the columns or beams since they were manufactured with a reinforced material since we live in a seismic zone and the foundations, the footing and the crown beams are made of reinforced concrete with steel reinforcement which are the rafters because it is a large building and always bearing in mind that the first born of the American continent (Cumana) is a seismic zone and a series of technical standards must be met when constructing a building of this magnitude.
Something very important of this building is the public electrical system that is located in the front part of the building. Also in the upper part of the Elikas there is a ventilation grill which is very used in this city. In addition on the right side there are some palm trees to set the atmosphere of the place and on the left side a garden of green areas to beautify this building.
The Elikas Building is located very close to Mariño Street, one block from the local municipal market. It functions as a commercial establishment where they offer household products such as furniture, dining tables, beds, you can also get appliances such as blender, blender, fans and others.
It is a building whose walls and windows make it very striking.
Something that caught my attention was an awning or roof at the top of the main entrance with a wrought iron base and a waterproof tarpaulin that functions as a shelter during precipitation.
Until the next tour of the First Born of the American Continent.
Greetings
