Hello, friends.
This is my answer to the contest Shadow Hunters Contest Round 173 from
In fact, the title just reflects my thoughts on the word "shadow", and not the essence of the post itself.
Last week, I arrived at work very early for two days. More precisely, I came to the regional center, where the company in which I work is located. And I had time for morning walks in the city park, by the city pond, on the river embankment and even next to the cathedral where the main church administrator of the region sits.
On the embankment I met several people of different ages. They were engaged in various physical exercises. The weather allowed people to take a morning walk. A good summer morning-the sun is shining, but there is no heat yet, it is cool in the morning.
Of course, the sun at such a moment creates a good long shadow. The best time to create a shadow is in the morning and evening.
.
The embankment ends with a staircase. I have noticed that some people deliberately go down and up the stairs several times to increase physical activity.
My fellow students at the institute told me that their teacher forced them to do physical exercises on this staircase. I didn't know about it at the time. I did track and field at the stadium.
I only found out about the existence of this staircase a few years ago. I don't live in this place, I didn't know about this place.
I went down the stairs very briskly. I also stopped at the observation deck, but it was all overgrown with bushes.
And notice-the stairs are all in shadow! This is what we need in this topic.
And when I went up, I counted all the steps. There were 9 flights of 17 steps. It turns out-153 steps. The step height is 15 cm. It turns out that I went up to 80 meters. At the landing I stopped again. I'm getting quite old, I couldn't run up that ladder without stopping.
I'm going to work a little earlier than usual tomorrow. I have an appointment with a man. It's good that the sun shines in the morning. I can easily get out of bed.
