It was a long day, one of the last days of this year's July. It started in my hometown, continued on the road, and ended in the city. Many photographs were taken, but they will appear in another, more general post, not far in the future. This one is strictly about shadows ...
... because I came across quite a few cool shadows in the city, on that day. Here you can take a look at a small suburban backyard, and the shadows that were displayed there.
On another wall along the same street, I found this shadowy antenna, that looks like something handy to get the signals from the Twilight Zone ... or afterlife ... or some of the many parallel universes.
Buildings were casting their large shadows, with narrow stripes of light in between them.
I passed by an old, decaying facade ... that looked very good with a bit of traffic sign shadow on it.
The mailbox by the entrance of another, newer building, along with its shadow and some other elements, created a surprisingly elegant composition.
Here you can see some friends walking to the grocery stores ... accompanied by their own shadows.
As always in these posts on HIVE, the photographs are my work - THE END.
