Hello friends and Hiveans. The weekend is finally here and it is special extended one which includes Christmas 🎄🎁 I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and hope you enjoy time spent with family and friends. Well I'm back again with another go with capturing some reflections in the Reflection Hunters Contest - Round 146 Thank you so much for this weekly competition opportunity.
My Entry
Sunrises can be so majestic at times. The day I took this reflection photo it was exactly that. The red glare in the sky is amazing in itself but to also have clouds just adds to it. The clouds hold the sun rays with an assortment of different colors.
This photo was of a tinted window located off a building where I am employed at. I see refections in them all the time. That day I felt it holds a better imagine than most days. I seen quite a few sunrises this week but I think this day had the best of them.
A different window on the same building but at another time. The reflection is of an aircraft maintenance building which is at the bottom of the hill from us. It really is cool looking at these windows so often throughout the day. It's like a changing art exhibit. Usually never the same reflections each and every day either.
Here's some more reflections this time of a basketball program reflecting off my front windshield of my car. It's the backside of the program that shows the names, numbers, and statistics of the players. Hey you also get to see that amazing sunrise sky through the windshield as well.
Here's the program again but this time facing front up. It contains photos of some of the girl's and boys basketball players. I took this shot as I was leaving work for the day. Almost sunset time but it won't be the best view due to a cloudy day.
Here again the program, the last ones. This time I was out delivery driving and the environment here is filled with fog. While doing my thing I really wanted to capture the foggy night. The area where these shots were captured was when the fog was some what clearing. I took many more photos of the foggy night and didn't get any more reflections by mistake. I wasn't out to get a reflection but it happened and I'm happy to be able to share them. I like the second one the best because it also has a vent reflection. Normally I would discard photos like this because there is no crop help to show what I'm trying to capture. Not any more though, these imperfection shots have a unique use in this community 😊 They may not be best of reflections but they are reflections and add to the many different ones we see each week here.
If your wondering I finally removed the program from my car and brought it into my house once I got home. It stayed up on the car dash for a week. Only time I actually tried to get a reflection from it was the shot getting off from work.
A foggy night it was here and today it is a foggy morning. I think I will get out and capture some more of it. Who knows maybe I will get lucky and capture some natural reflections 🤞
Well this is all I got for you today. I wish everyone the best of luck with the competition. I will be lurking later today in the community checking out other participants entries. Once again Merry Christmas and may you have joy with family and friends the rest of the season. Take care and stay safe. Until next time.
